🤠 Booking a ride with us is easy-but it does take a little prep!
At Glen Valley Stables, our rides are by reservation. While we love seeing folks out enjoying Campbell Valley Park, we generally do not recommend same-day bookings or walk-ins.
Why? Well… our horses don’t live at the park. 🐴
Our horses live locally on private property, and we do not conduct trail rides from the farm where they live. For every reservation, we carefully select the right horses for the riders, get everyone prepared, load up the trailer and haul the horses over to Campbell Valley Park so they’re standing by and ready to hit the trails at your scheduled time.
There’s a whole lot of behind-the-scenes cowboy work that happens before you ever climb in the saddle!
So if you drop into Campbell Valley Park without a reservation hoping to ride, you may unfortunately find yourself enjoying the park without a horse. 😉
And believe us — we feel terrible when we can’t accommodate folks who have made the trip out!
We operate year-round, but our herd size changes throughout the seasons. During the quieter months, some of our lease horses head home, while some of our own exceptional horses may head out on lease as well. That means we have fewer horses available at certain times of year.
We only have so many saddles to fill — and once those horses are spoken for, they’re spoken for!
