Spring Break was full of excitement fun and learning! We experienced all 4 seasons this week and it didn’t stop anyone from getting out on horseback! From first trots to first jumps and cantering the kids really excelled all week. Some started the week of on lead line and by the end of the week were fully independent and even learned rising trot! Now that’s determination! It was wonderful seeing familiar faces from last year and how much you’ve grown! We also welcomed some pretty enthusiastic new faces this year who were so fun to coach. Thank you to all our wonderful volunteers who put in several thousand steps each day to allow the kids to flourish in their riding skills. What may seem like no big deal to you is a huge deal for them, and a lifetime core memory as a kid at horse camp. Until next time friends, one two one two, chin up and eyes ahead! The kids braved the rain and still rode their ponies through the trails today! We had to clean our tack of course after, learning parts of the bridle and how to take it apart and put it back together again. We also enjoyed this really fun bond building exercise with our ponies, letting the horses do the painting this time! It was really cool seeing all the different patterns each horse made with their tongues and teeth!

👀🐎Advanced Camp 🐎for enthusiastic equestrians independently riding and can jump small fences. Ask about bringing your own horse to camp!
July 20-24 & Aug 3-7 $700 - please inquire limited space

🌻Time: All Camps are 9 am- 2 pm
🌻Ages: 6 and up!
🌻About: Please join us for a week of every little equestrian’s dream. These adventurous days are filled with horse husbandry, in-depth horsemanship, a formal riding lesson, riding on our own private trail system, games on horseback, daily crafts and outdoor activities!
We have a variety of very well trained horses and ponies for all levels of riders with a qualified/insured riding instructor with their CRC. We are a more family oriented run facility with a very friendly, fun and supportive vibe. We love having our campers return year after year watching them grow and become really expert equestrians! If you’re looking for a camp with fewer kids and more focused on actual horse time this is the one for your child!
🐎Advanced Camps will focus on the science of behaviour/horse welfare, off site training at CVP and fine tuning those developmental skills with your horse on the flat.
