Fingers, paws and everything crossedโ€ฆ we got a little bit of hope today!!! ๐Ÿ™๐Ÿฉท

After just one day on some new medications, Karlaโ€™s bladder's size went from 16 to 9. ๐Ÿ˜ญ๐Ÿฅณ

And thenโ€ฆ SHE PEED. THREE TIMES. ๐Ÿฅน๐Ÿ˜ญ๐Ÿพ
THREE TIMES!!! That never happened on one short walk. Then she had dinner and went out and peed again!

Itโ€™s still way too early to know what these changes mean, and there are lots of unknowns. But the difference in measurements makes us feel this is working but we donโ€™t know yet whether this is something weโ€™ll continue to see. But I cannot recall her bladder being this small for such a long time.

After everything Karla has been through, and knowing how long her bladder has been overstretched, seeing these changes today gave us a little bit of hope. ๐Ÿฉท

Weโ€™re cautiously optimistic, keeping our fingers crossed, and taking every little win we can get!

We visited Karla today ๐Ÿฉท

She was still a little high from the va**um after having her ultrasound, but thankfully, the ultrasound didnโ€™t show any abnormalities, which is really good news. ๐Ÿ™

Sheโ€™s now on two new medications, so the next step is simply hoping they do what we need them to do and help her start urinating on her own again. ๐Ÿคž

Sheโ€™s definitely not thrilled about being away from home, but she got lots of love and cuddles today. ๐Ÿฉท

Weโ€™ll be back to visit her again tomorrow!

Todayโ€™s the day. ๐Ÿพ

Weโ€™re dropping Karla off at VCA for at least 3 days while the team digs deeper into her ongoing bladder issues and tries to figure out whatโ€™s actually going on.

Itโ€™s been a long road of trial and error, so weโ€™re really hoping this gives us some answers and, most importantly, a better plan for her going forward.

Weโ€™ll be visiting her tomorrow, so at least we donโ€™t have to wait too long to see our girl again. ๐Ÿฉท

Karla, meanwhile, has absolutely no idea sheโ€™s checking into the hospital today. ๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿพ

Fingers crossed for some answers, good news, and a very happy reunion in a few days. ๐Ÿคž๐Ÿป

My heart is broken for my dear friend Ivet karbo (karbullys ) as she says goodbye to her beautiful Marshmallow. She was one of those dogs who made everyone around her smile, and I was lucky enough to love her too ๐Ÿฉท
