I have always had a passion for animals and have been working with them since 2017. I am a certified Pet Groomer, Veterinary Assistant and I have also taken Pet First Aid courses. I also have experience with Dog Handling, Pet Day Care
s and Kenneling as well as grooming and Managing different grooming locations across Nova Scotia. I am currently grooming and operating from my home in Lake Echo. I decided to focus on my own business to ensure your pet has a private stress free 'Spaw Day!' I only take one client at a time so they are not kept in cages. They are done straight through so they will not be waiting around. They will have little breaks to ensure they are not overwhelmed and will receive individual attention. To minimize stress there will be less barking , no strange smells or other loud noises. (Besides my own dogs who are kept in a separate area of my home) To ensure your dog's get the time they need to relax, enjoy and have a beautiful quality groom, bring them to me! I am open Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Fridays weekly and Sundays Bi-weekly. I am Closed Mondays, Thursdays and Saturdays. Please note: weekend appointments are harder to accommodate or may be booked far in advanced as they are usually pre-booked for the year. So I highly recommend booking as soon as possible if a weekend spot is needed. There is currently no Weekend availability for 2025. I am only accepting one client a day at 12 PM unless it is two dogs of the same household. I will book any nail trim appointments or "extra" appointments after around 2PM - 4 PM. I am a groomer and a mom, so I quote 1.5 - 3 hours per dog ( averages around 2 hours but 3 maximum) I allow myself the extra hour in case my kids need anything or your dog needs any breaks and time to relax. SERVICES PROVIDED:
- Full Groom:
* Style at owners choice, Breed specific or at the need of the dogs coat.
* Hair cut Length options between a shave ( #10/ #7 blade) all the way up to a 2 " (guard comb)
* Head, Face, Ear Trim and Tail Trim to fit the style.
- Bath and Tidy:
* The dog will keep the same hair length they arrived with but I will scissor it to ensure it's cleaned up and tidy.
* If applicable to the breed they will still have Head, Face, Tail and Ear Trim to fit the style.
- Bathing Only:
* A Full Bath, Dry and Brush out with your choice of shampoos from Regular, Whitening, Hypo (No scent for sensitive skin) or Medicated for Itchy or rashy dogs.
* Nail trim and Paw Pad Shave and Ear cleaning.
* Sanitary Shave (if applicable).
* I will remove any ticks and check for any Fleas or any other unwanted friends. NOTE - There will be an extra charge of $5 for a flea bath. PRICES:

NOTE - There will be an extra charge for any severely matted dog requiring pre-clipping. $10 for small and $20 for Medium and Large breeds. Bath and Tidy Prices:

NOTE - Bleaching is requires for any dog that has darker hair. Brown, Black, Dark grey. Not bleaching hair may result in the colours not appearing at all, not as vibrant or even end up a different shade of the colour you want. Full Body Colour
* Small dog - Starts at $80
* Medium dog - Starts at $100
* Large dog - Starts at $120
** These prices may increase depending on coat condition and length. It may also change depending on how much product is needed to complete the dye job. **
COLOURING DISCLOSURE: OPAWZ is a vegan dog safe permanent hair dye that may last up to 6 months or until it is washed / cut out of the hair. This service is only for dogs who are well behaved and able to tolerate the extra service and the extra time to complete the dyes. It is not recommended for any dog that already struggles with the grooming process. You must have at least one regular grooming appointment with me prior to your colour appointment to determine if your dog is eligible. If your dog has a history of sensitive skin, inflammation or allergies this may not be recommended. I can do a test dye where I put a tiny ( pea-sized ) amount of dye on the dog and wait 48 hours to see if there is any kind of reaction or irritation. If there is no reactions at all, we can then proceed to book for your dye appointment. It is also not recommended for very elderly dogs or dogs that are pregnant. I do apologize due to safety reasons I am not able to accept any XL dog breeds at all as they normally need more than one person to assist in their care. If you do have a XL breed of dog and have any questions about if your dogs breed is accepted, please don't hesitate to contact me! I also do not accept any dog that displays any aggression, I am home with my kids and can not risk being bitten or injured when I am here with them.
