Afternoon solo hike goes to Dottie!
And honestly, I'm not even going to pretend I have anything professional to say about this one because I LOVE Dottie.This girl wants to be everybody's best friend, and somehow, she manages to make you feel like you're her favourite person in the whole world. She's one of my best friends, and I genuinely think she's the most adorable, funny, loving, big goofy clown I've ever met in the dog world.
Dottie is just Dottie, and there is something so incredibly special about her. She makes me laugh, makes me smile, and reminds me exactly why I love what I do.
Some dogs steal a little piece of your heart, and then there's Dottie, who apparently decided the whole thing belonged to her.
I just love Dottie. Plain and simple.

Monday's Afternoon Adventure Pack: Cowboy, Odin, Whisper, Rosie, Beowulf, Chico, and Oakley!
Oh, Mr. Oakley got to sneak in a second hike today, and honestly, I kind of love that for him. It's been a hot minute since I've seen this little ball of fury, so we were going to make sure he got all his wiggles out. And I think we can safely say we accomplished that today!Everybody had the best time, and this pack is such a great example of why I love what I do.
Rosie, Whisper, and Odin have always had Mr. Cowboy as their adventure buddy, but I've slowly started bringing Chico and Beowulf into the mix, too. Everyone gets along so well, and as you spend more time with each dog, you start to learn their individual personalities, energy levels, and what makes them tick.I knew Cowboy needed a little more playmate material in his life. As much as Odin is pretty good at keeping up with him, Rosie and Whisper are a little more in the "Yeah, no, I don't really do puppy play" category.
Enter Chico, our forever-puppy-looking guy who seems to have a permanent case of ants in his pants, and Beowulf, who is always happy to join in on a good zoomie session. These two rounded out the pack beautifully, and Cowboy had some fantastic company to burn off that extra energy with.And then there's Oakley.
In true Oakley fashion, he puttered along behind the rest of us, making sure everyone understood his personal-space policy. And honestly, I get it. He's a tiny, pint-sized guy surrounded by big dogs with big energy and some seriously speedy zoomies. That's a whole lot of dog coming into your personal bubble!
I can absolutely understand why he'd prefer to stick close to me and remind everyone, "Hey, I don't really appreciate this."And relatable, really. I wouldn't be overly thrilled about a giant charging into my personal space either!
Everyone had the bestest of the best days, and honestly, I couldn't have asked for a better Monday. New pups, old pups, great pups, happy pups, lovely pups, fast pups, zoomy pups, and quirky pups.
I love every single one of them, quirks and all, probably because I'm a little quirky myself.And really, that's what makes this whole adventure so special. Every dog brings something different to the pack, and there's room for all of it.

These four made me smile today. The very first time Lefty and Charlie met, I knew immediately they were going to become best friends, and they did. Same energy, same sweet souls, and the perfect kind of friendship. So, of course, Odin and Beowulf fit right in, too.
Four beautiful, sweet, amazing pups out on their adventures, living their happiest lives and making me smile along the way.
Sometimes, it really is the little things that make life so wonderful. A beautiful forest trail, a good swimming hole, a waterlogged stick, and friends to share it all with.
Honestly, what more could a pup ask for?

First hike goes to Charlie, who also happens to be helping me out with what I guess you could call my first little commercial! Looks like Mr. Charlie is making his breakout into the commercial industry. I told you, buddy, it's going to happen fast! These hounds are going to be picking up series deals in no time.
Mr. Charlie is helping me out with today's video, showing off our brand-new Hayleys Adventure Hounds hoodies alongside two of his best friends forever!
I've had an amazing best friend help me design these wicked new hoodies, and we wanted something that really screamed Hayleys Adventure Hounds. So, naturally, we took an image of these hounds and turned it into some seriously awesome merch!
