I've been working on something 🤫

I'm excited to finally share the Instinct K9 Community!

Over the past few weeks I have been working hard to create an online space for dog lovers to come together, and have created the Instinct K9 Community on WhatsApp! This completely free community is a hub where dog owners can come together to share wins, seek advice, and receive support from other likeminded dog owners.

The group has several sub-groups for whatever interests you, be it trick training, reactivity support, group class and workshop opportunities, recall, disc dog, and more! Group members will be the first to know about any upcoming Instinct K9 events and will even get a say in what types of events and classes get offered. My goal is to also have group member meet ups on occasion, to enjoy the company of fellow dog owners and their furry friends in a safe, structured way.

Wednesday afternoon hikers spent time cooling off at the creek, it was so hot that even Paisley chose to go into the water a bit to cool off. These party pooches played hard and enjoy a walk through the trees before and after their pool party!

Wednesday morning hikers got an extra long adventure, we bush whacked to try and get back to a trail we were on from the creek, but it was taking a lot longer than anticipated so we had to double back. The dogs did not mind one bit!

Girls just wanna have fun... and so does Rudy! He might be a boy, but this little dude loves a good time. I had the pleasure of working with him and his people today, to build some recall in the real world and work on a few other skills.

We learned how to play games that are fun and engaging for Rudy, and on the flip side of being fun, learned to take a step back and let him do his thing while walking.

It was a great session, and I look forward to hearing about their progress soon! 🐶
