Are you too busy to give your pooch the exercise that he/she really needs? Does your dog display behavioral issues and destructive behavior due to a high energy level, and not enough physical and mental stimulation? We will pick up your dog from your house, drive up into the mountains, and take your fur friend and the rest of the pack on a three hour, off leash, mountain hike! Your dog will return home happy, tired, and full of stories! Serving Ladysmith and Cedar areas.

Hello everyone!

I am looking to add 2-3 new dogs to my hiking roster! I focus on adventurous backwood hikes that cater to the lean, fit and energetic dog!
I have 2-3 full time Friday spots available and could accommodate 1-2 new dogs between Tuesday-Thursday.
My service area includes Cedar, from Friesen's south. No further South than Lagoon Bridge or the end of South Davis road in Ladysmith.

What you can expect:
-3-4 hour hikes, usually ranging between 13-19 km depending on terrain, weather and exact hike length.
-Well maintained high end Garmin GPS tracking collars on all dogs
-Pick up & Drop off at your home
-Recall & behavioral work (if needed) for your dog throughout the hike, focusing on traveling together rather than play based, acting as a pack, learning to read other pack members and act appropriately
-Variety of terrain, we hike trails, grades, plenty of bushwacking, lots of swimming and traveling waterways in the summer
-Building confidence for insecure, under socialized and shy dogs
-Mental and physical stimulation

What I am looking for:
-Dogs who are friendly in close quarters (we sit pretty close together on the car ride)
-Size appropriate for long hikes in sometimes difficult terrain (no very small dogs, no giant breeds, no brachycaphalic breeds)
-Male dogs must be neutered
-No chronic pain issues
-Dogs must be physically fit and able to keep up with the pack during long hikes

Thank you once again to Shane's At Your Door Auto for coming to the rescue! Left this morning to start the hike, and didn't get out my driveway before my CEL started flashing! No good !! ⚠️⚠️
Shane's got me in right away, and replaced the ignition coil and gave me an oil change, so now I'm ready to hit the road tomorrow and carry on with the week!
Having to cancel hikes for vehicle issues is never a good day, but when I can be accommodated so quickly and back on the road, it's just one less worry!

✅️ And incase anyone was wondering, the shop is back to full service, AND, I learned today that oil changes are currently 20% off!

Thanks again to this fabulous local business, and I will see my hiking buddies tomorrow! Sorry to everyone who I had to cancel today!

⚠️Little update as I am working on my next newsletter....
🪻I have a Tuesday and a Friday spot available this week, if anyone wants to add on!
🪻I am officially looking to fill a permanent Tuesday and Friday spot, I will be reaching out to the public to fill these spots if no current clients are interested!
🪻There will be NO HIKES Friday March 20th
🪻Spring break is just around the corner... I am still in the final stages of figuring out my exact schedule with childcare plans all over the place, but please expect pick up to be EARLIER than normal between March 16-27th

✅️ I have a Tuesday and a Friday space available this week, if anyone wants to add a hike, send me a text!
✅️ I have a permanent weekly tuesday AND Friday space to fill, I will enquire within my current clients before putting it out for a new dog to join, so if anyone is looking to add Tuesdays or Fridays to their weekly regime, shoot me a text and we can discuss it further!
✅️ I am working on December invoices, hope to have them out by the end of the week!
