Good morning everyone! So I have a video and story time for you. I took this video yesterday right before a cleaning session, but they're still cute. So. The puppies are 3 weeks old (well Rhea's will be tomorrow and Kiki's turned 3 weeks on Monday). Those that are getting puppies from these litters might want to say a little prayer because you might have your hands full! 😂 I have a barrier between them and the doggy door to go outside that is pretty significant, like high enough that I never would have questioned its ability to stop the puppies if I had not witnessed what I just did. I have a camera on the puppies at all times so I can keep an eye on them no matter where I am (it's literally a baby monitor). I woke up and looked at the camera to check on the puppies from bed and what do I see? A little nose poking up from the WRONG side of the barrier!! I jumped out of bed and ran downstairs. There was not just one puppy. No no. I was outsmarted by SEVEN puppies, 5 of whom were just chilling outside, all huddled together as it's getting pretty chilly outside now. I was in too much of a panic so I forgot to take a picture to document which ones were the culprits but if one of those babies ends up in your home, well... Good luck is all I can say!

Just a public service announcement because I get a lot of questions and requests: WE DO NOT CROSS NEWFOUNDLANDS AND GOLDEN RETRIEVERS. We breed only purebreds of both breeds. Many many people will tell you that crosses are healthier. This is false information. It opens the door to the unknown. We do genetic health testing on our dogs, which covers things within their own breed. But that testing does not cover possible ailments that could pop up if bred with another breed. We would be subjecting puppies to a higher risk of hip and elbow dysplasia (what if one part of a joint is Newfie sized and the other part is golden sized? Not good!), as well as a much wider and less controlled range of personalities. I know my Newfies. I know my Goldens. But a crossed litter would be much much less predictable and I would not be able to ensure something that I generally have pretty good control over. That even goes for their grooming and hair type.

Both of these breeds are amazing in their own way. If you want a happy, loyal companion and the easiest dog in the world that loves everyone and always wants to be by your side? Get a golden. If you want a big do**us that wants to play all the time and thinks they are a lap dog and is a bit on the stubborn side but will raise your kids for you? Get a Newfie.

I will not be arguing with anyone on this subject. We can chat privately if you really want to voice your opinions, but any rude behaviour or disrespect is a good way to get booted from this page ❤️

And here are Rhea's puppies! These guys are SO active. As you can see I had to pick some of them up for photos because they were so wiggly every photo was blurry 😂 they are so strong and healthy, just love them to bits

Kianda's puppies are getting so big! They are active and graduating to a larger area today! I have put collars on them as when I expand the space both litters will be meeting and becoming one BIG puppy conglomeration. Since I need to know who is who, the collars were put in place. The two litters have different brands of collars so even faster for us to tell who's puppy it is!
