🍂🐾 Did you visit us this weekend?

Remember to tag Hands Off Zoom Park in your autumn photos so we get to see all your great pictures too! We’d love to share them for everyone to enjoy. ❤️

And here’s my crew giving the fall photo-op their official stamp of approval! 🎃🍁🐾

(Getting all nine to cooperate may have required some creative negotiation - ‘bribery’ *cough*cough* 🤣)

P.S. 100% real dogs. 100% real photo. 0% AI. Approximately 200% chaos behind the scenes. 🤣

🐾 Introducing the Stray Station! 🐾

Finally, all those stray belongings left behind at Hands Off Zoom Park have a place to wait for their humans! 😂

If you find something left behind, just pop it into the Stray Station. If you get home and discover you’re missing a toque, gloves, travel mug, sunglasses, jewelry—or whatever else you may have forgotten—this is the first place to check.

See something that belongs to you? Please take your stray home! ❤️

A big thank you to Daryl, who took over the project, built it a roof from some old tin, and gave the whole thing a fresh coat of paint.

And thank you to our next-door neighbour Ardy at Dandelion Acres Country Stand, who did such a great job cutting the vinyl for our sign.

Not bad for a little rescued cupboard that now spends its days rescuing everyone else’s stuff. 😂

🐾 Today is Responsible Pet Ownership Day!

Around here, we think responsible pet ownership looks like a thousand little things.

It’s keeping vaccinations and health care up to date.
It’s training, enrichment and exercise.
It’s knowing when your dog needs adventure — and when they need a little space.
It’s picking up the p**p. 💩😂
It’s respecting other dogs and their people.
And sometimes, it’s booking an entire field so your dog can simply be a dog without worrying about who might come through the gate. ❤️

At Hands Off Zoom Park, we get to see responsible pet ownership every single day — people making the effort to give their dogs safe exercise, freedom, enrichment and some really good sniffs.

So today, give your four-legged family member an extra scratch, toss the ball one more time, or let them spend another five minutes investigating that very important blade of grass. 😂

Happy Responsible Pet Ownership Day from Hands Off Zoom Park! 🐕🐾

Because loving them is easy. Taking good care of them is how we show it. ❤️

⚠️ IMPORTANT HEALTH AND SAFETY REMINDER ⚠️

I have been made aware of concerns regarding canine parvovirus in our local area. This is a timely reminder that the health rules at Hands Off Zoom Park are mandatory—not optional.

Please do not bring your dog to the park if they:

• are vomiting, have diarrhea, are unusually tired, have stopped eating, or are showing any other sign of illness
• have recently been exposed to a sick dog or a dog suspected of having a contagious illness
• are awaiting test results for a potentially contagious condition
• are not current on their required vaccinations or approved titre testing

Young puppies must have completed their vaccination series and be considered protected by their veterinarian before visiting.

Parvovirus is highly contagious and can be carried into an area on f***s, soil, footwear, paws, equipment and other contaminated items. It can place puppies and other vulnerable dogs at very serious risk.

If your dog becomes ill or is diagnosed with a contagious condition shortly after visiting Hands Off Zoom Park, please notify me privately through the booking app immediately. This information will be handled discreetly and used only to help protect other visitors.

Hands Off Zoom Park is located at our home, and my own dogs also use this space. Bringing an ill, recently exposed or inadequately vaccinated dog onto the property does not only endanger other customers’ dogs—it directly endangers mine.

Anyone who knowingly disregards these health requirements will permanently lose their booking privileges. There will be no exceptions.

These requirements are included in the booking rules and are also posted at the park entrance. By booking and using the park, every visitor agrees to follow them.

This is our home, and the park is shared by many much-loved dogs. Thank you to everyone who respects the rules and helps keep the space as safe as possible. ❤️🐾

🌈🐾 Rainbow Bridge Day 🕯️

Over the years, hundreds of dogs have come through the gates at Hands Off Zoom Park.

They’ve raced around the field, explored every interesting smell, rolled in things their humans wished they hadn’t 🤣, chased balls, played on the obstacles, and simply enjoyed having a little piece of the world where they could be completely themselves.

And sadly, I know that some of those familiar faces are no longer here. 💔

Today, on Rainbow Bridge Day, I want to take a moment to remember all of the dogs who once came to Zoom Park and have since crossed the Rainbow Bridge.

Some I knew by name. Some I recognized from their regular visits and photos. And some I may never know have passed—but every one of them was deeply loved by someone.

If you’ve lost a dog who once enjoyed Hands Off Zoom Park, I would love for you to share their photo, their name, or a favourite memory in the comments.

Today, we remember them. 🌈🐾❤️

Here are our current “I Think I Live Here Now” residents. 🤣

Take a peek through the photos — if you spot something that belongs to you, send me a message through the booking app so it doesn’t disappear into the black hole that is my social media messages. 😜

No judgment on how long some of these have been here. I just finally got around to taking their mugshots. 😂📸

You may have noticed I’m not exactly great at keeping up with social media around here. 😂

I did finally update the photos! Oops! Winter pictures still hanging around in August may have been the giveaway that my other life has been a little crazy. 🤪 My spring and summer seems to have been spent mostly at work! 😜

I also have a collection of Lost & Found items that I’ll be putting into a separate album. I’m hoping to get a little outdoor “library” spot set up soon where found items can be kept safely and people can easily claim whatever they’ve left behind. 😉 There are definitely a few things waiting to find their humans!

I hope everyone — two-legged and four-legged — has been enjoying their summer! ☀️🐕🌳

I can’t believe we’re already halfway through August. I seem to have missed most of it! 😂

A little personal note 💛

I know updates have been a bit quiet — I’m not on here as often as I’d like, and some health challenges over the past few months made it even harder to keep up.

Hopefully I’m on the upside now.

Thank you for your patience and continued support 🐾

January’s photo submissions included some fabulous images. With such a close call, I opted for an admin’s choice this time and selected a couple of photos from participants who haven’t been featured before. I love being able to share the spotlight when I can 💞

Thank you everyone who shared — your photos are always appreciated 🥰
