Today was a little different around here. It was misty, cold, and extra chilly on our noses! 🌫️🐶 So naturally, we did what any sensible dogs would do… RUN! 💨

We spent most of the day zooming around, playing, wrestling, and generally keeping those paws moving so we didn’t feel the chill. 😂

But then we noticed something very strange…

Sophie and Denise were wearing these things called “sweaters.” 🧶👀

Excuse us… WHAT are those?! And why do they get one?! Do they come with treats? Are they chewable? Can we have one too?! 😂

Even with the chilly weather, we had a great day. And when playtime was finally over, we all got tucked in with cozy blankets, warm snuggles, and full bellies before settling down for the night. ❤️🐾 Because every pup deserves to end the day feeling warm, happy, and loved.

🥶🐾 CHILLY WEATHER, BUT THESE DOGS WERE AS COOL AS THE TEMPERATURES! 🐾🥶

It may have been a little chilly out today, but that certainly didn’t stop the fun at Lakeview Family Kennels! Our four-legged guests were busy doing what they do best — wagging tails, giving kisses, soaking up attention, and making sure everyone around them had a smile on their face. 🐶❤️

We had Sophie, Madison, and Denise here today, and let’s just say… these ladies might be powered by something stronger than coffee! 😂☕🐾

Their fuel? DOGGY KISSES AND TAIL WAGS! 💕🐕

Every happy greeting, every wagging tail, every excited face, and every bit of attention from the dogs seemed to give them even more energy. The more love the pups showed, the more love they wanted to give right back! It was one of those days where you can’t help but smile watching the bond between people and dogs grow.

And honestly, is there a better way to spend a chilly day? We don’t think so! 🥰

Whether your pup is here for a day of daycare fun, a little social time with their furry friends, or an extended boarding stay, we want every dog who walks through our doors to feel happy, comfortable, loved, and right at home. 🏡🐾

🐾❤️ MIA... WHEN DID YOU GET SO BIG?! ❤️🐾

Seriously... you were just this little baby when you first came to us, and somehow you're growing up right before our eyes. 🥹🐶

You are an absolute tornado of energy wrapped in one very lovable package. 🌪️😂❤️

When you were smaller, you found your place with our little dog crew and made some pretty amazing friends. They helped you play, learn, build confidence and, of course, perfect the art of causing just the right amount of puppy chaos. 🤣🐾

And now look at you...

You're growing up and starting to find your place with the bigger crew, making new friends and showing us just how far you've come. ❤️

Mia, we absolutely love watching you grow, learn, make new friends and become the amazing girl you're turning into.

But maybe slow down just a LITTLE...

Ashley is emotionally fragile and none of us have time to deal with this every time you get taller. 🤣😭🐶❤️

🌧️🐾 Well... somebody apparently hurt the sky's feelings this morning because it was having itself A MOMENT. 🌧️😭

Rain. Rain. More rain.

We'd like to formally ask...

WHO UPSET THE SKY?!

Because none of us are taking responsibility. 🤣🐶

Some of us didn't mind it one bit.

Others looked outside and immediately said, “Absolutely not.”

And then there were those standing at the door looking at the humans like...

“You seriously expect me to p*e in THAT?” 👀🌧️🤣

Thankfully, the sky eventually pulled itself together, dried its tears and gave us a break! 😂👏

Once that happened, we were back outside enjoying the cooler weather. Toys came out, we wandered the yards, played with our buddies and just enjoyed a nice, easygoing afternoon. 🐶🎾❤️

After all the crazy heat we've had lately, we have to admit...

This wasn't half bad.

Apparently Mother Nature finally found the thermostat. Took her long enough. 😂🙄

Now our daycare crew is home — and we're guessing at least a few walked through the door, found the nearest comfy spot and immediately clocked out for the evening. 😂😴

Meanwhile, our boarding crew has officially moved into evening mode. 🐶❤️

Bellies full. 🍽️
Beds claimed. 💤
Blankets arranged to our extremely high standards. 😂

It's a process. Please respect it. 😂❤️

Another Thursday in the books! ❤️🐾

And apparently the sky has decided to keep the drama going, with rain popping in and out all the way through Monday. 🌧️🎭🤣

So if you see a dog staring suspiciously at the clouds this weekend, just know they are monitoring the situation closely.

The rain-loving doggos are already celebrating. The rest of us would like to speak to management. 😂🐶☔

And to the sky...

We love you. We support you. We understand you have feelings.

But next time maybe journal about it instead of involving all of us. 🌧️📖🤣🐾
