There comes a time where you have to know when something you might love and care for deeply is still too much.

Scoopy-Poo was founded out of a need to serve our community, and for myself (Amanda) to move into a more physically active role. We started out with a bang and literally haven’t stopped scooping since. It’s been 4 years, and you all have kept us busy! From spring cleans, to weekly/biweekly maintenance, mowing, dump runs, and everything else in between….we have had our hands full!

All of this to say that we are hanging up our scoops. As many of you know, Kyle has taken a new role as Project Manager of Vacuum Services at LNG, and myself….well. Art has been waiting a long time for me to take it seriously and now is the time. So I’m going after my dreams and pursuing art as a path.

My greatest wish is for you all to know what a blessing it’s been to help take care of you and your furry family members over the years. We do not take it lightly that we have been allowed in your yards, homes and hearts. Meeting and knowing you and your pets has made life here so much better, and we can’t imagine not continuing to foster those relationships as we stay here in our home. Kitimat.

We do have plans to pop up for a few weeks at spring time to help with spring cleans, so look for us advertising next year around beginning of March/April to book ahead. They will be pre-book/pre-paid only and for a time frame that works with our schedule. Weather dependent of course.

We love you kitimat. We will reach out to all of our existing maintenance clients to discuss our last maintenance dates and when we will be done with the maintenance services. Amanda is headed out of town beginning of June for 3 weeks and we aim to have them done by June 3rd.

Scoopy-Poo will be closed this week and into next week as your loyal scoopers decided to make it official. Finally 😉 We’re saying spooky I Do’s on Halloween so we are taking sometime off. We have folks flying in and we need to put s**t aside. Literally. We will be back at it when the ink is dry!!

Happy Halloween everyone, thanks for being our loyal clients and thanks for continuing to feed your pooches so we can keep scooping 🤣

This trio of trouble is here to remind you to schedule your fall clean up with their hoomans. They want to do zoomies in a leaf free yard so no one slips and the poo can’t hide. Nothin worse than stepping in our own 💩

Don’t let the leaves take over your yard, contact us for your fall cleaning needs. We are now scheduling leaf clean ups along side regular maintenance. DM us and we will schedule you asap!

We try to be out working, rain or shine but this last ditch effort at summer has got us SWEATING. We will be putting the scoops down and the mowers away for the next couple of days. If you have a scheduled appointment already, we will be in touch to reschedule once we move out of this extreme heat warning.

Move to the PNW they said, it’s not hot up there they said 😒 All jokes aside, keeping ourselves safe is our priority and we need to recoup and hydrate. Please check on your friends, seniors, neighbours and stay safe in this heat wave. 🐾🐾

Amanda made it home safe and sound, and we have some incredibly exciting news to share with you all soon. But until then, services will be resuming as normal starting tomorrow, once the dogs let her up from under their aggressive cuddles…….🐶💓

Much to this boys dismay, Amanda is out of town for a week and Kyle will be at his ft job. Services will be slower for the next week, we appreciate your patience as we take this time to do some fun stuff (for some of us 😂) Don’t worry, Tesoro will be okay and I’m sure he’ll get all the snuggles later when he takes moms spot in bed.

We haven’t forgotten about anyone!! We are taking a very slight ✨pause✨ while Kyle is away in Alberta. Some of you have heard the tale of a storage unit back by Lethbridge, where we used to live. It’s true, for 4 years we’ve been trying to make it work to get back and retrieve our most precious belongings. Kyle is finally there now, while Amanda is home on CCO duty. Chief cuddle officer.

We will be resuming maintenance clients in the coming days here, and any upcoming spring cleans will be scheduled when Kyle is back next week. It’s Amanda’s birthday today so we are closed!! The scoops are down and we are off chasing waterfalls (and squirrels in some cases) but we will resume services and respond to any messages tomorrow! Enjoy the sunshine ☀️
