Dearest Diary,
Verily, I do hereby confess, with neither shame nor the slightest inclination toward repentance, that my most ardent and undying passion for the noble hound doth grow ever more fervent with each passing morn!
Alas, I am utterly, irrevocably, and most delightfully besotted with these four-legged creatures, and should any physician, apothecary, or learned gentleman presume to offer a remedy for this affliction, I shall dismiss him forthwith from my presence!
For lo, this malady is no burden, but a blessing most divine β and I pray thee, let there be no cure, now or evermore!
