Yes, dogs can eat strawberries as long as they are given in moderation. Strawberries have many benefits for dogs, such as vitamins, minerals, antioxidants, and fiber. However, eating too many can cause digestive issues in dogs so it is important to monitor just how much you're feeding them. Give us a call at (519) 742-2821.

Your dog’s size and energy output determine how much you should feed them. A pup with normal activity levels should receive “maintenance energy” whereas a lap dog requires just about 10% of that. An active pupper who exercises outdoors regularly would likely need an additional 20-40% than your average dog. Adjusting portion sizes is normal as you learn your dog’s ideal maintenance amount. Keep in mind that the weather can play a role in how much your dog should eat. Be sure to consult with us to develop a feeding schedule that is best for your furry family members! Contact us at (519) 742-2821 for more personalized care.
