Our toy breeds need to be close to their humans. They also need to use their voices. And I'm pretty sure I forgot to mention, they need to use their brains. Like all breeds, but we do want to create opportunities for them to think things through as well!

If you see someone struggling with their dog, slow down, give them the time they need to get the distance their dog needs.

It is the greatest thing that you can do for that other dog

And if your dog has big spicy feelings about things, notice what's happening in the environment, and just move them in a different direction. Creating time and space for your dog to be able to process keeps them out of fight or flight mode. And doing that on a regular basis, will be life changing for them... And for you!!!
