What better way to celebrate Feline Friday than with an adorable new friend?
Meet Leo. This handsome little guy was recently in for his very first kitten wellness visit with Dr. Cote, and he was such a cutie during his visit.

Our veterinary technician Evan was helping Leo feel right at home with a delicious treat to encourage him during his visit. Sometimes a little snack is all you need to make a new experience a little more enjoyable. First kitten visits are an exciting milestone and the beginning of a lifetime of healthy adventures.

We are so happy to welcome Leo to our clinic family. 😻

Happy first day of school! 🎒🍎

Back to school means back to routine for many of us. 📚

While "the kids" are getting ready to head back to school, remember that our pets may need a little extra time to adjust to the new routine too.

A few simple things can help:

✏️ Ease back into a consistent feeding and walking schedule
✏️Give your pets some extra attention before everyone heads out the door
✏️Provide enrichment toys or activities to keep them busy while the house is quiet or when the house is busy.
✏️Watch for signs of stress or separation anxiety as routines change

And don’t forget back to school means back to busy. Take a extra few moments each morning and evening to check in with them. They may not understand why everyone suddenly has somewhere to be, but they’ll certainly appreciate some extra love when you get home.

🐶 Happy National Dog Day! 🐶

Today we are celebrating all the wonderful dogs who bring so much love, laughter, and joy into our lives, including our new friend Chief.

Chief is a handsome 9 month old German Shepherd who recently came in to see Dr. Cote for an ear check and to update his vaccination. Just look at his sweet face! What a good boy. 🥰

Chief’s family also signed him up for our Pet Health Club, helping them stay on top of his essential preventive care while enjoying the benefits and savings of membership. 🙌

From puppyhood adventures to lifelong companionship, our dogs truly are some of our very best friends.
