I have been getting alot of questions lately, so I figured I would make a post to answer some!
Where do I travel?:
Currently only 2.5hrs from Napanee ON unless otherwise posted. I will be back to servicing everywhere south of Sudbury in the fall
How much does it cost?:
I have a minimum charge of $60. This is not in addition to anything, however all my jobs are quoted by the job, I do not have a set price list due to the variables in the jobs (condition, aggression level, number of animals, etc). I also do not charge a travel charge UNLESS it is a specific trip that you have asked me to make just for you.
What do we do?:
Mini pigs, goats, sheep, llamas, and alpacas
- trim hooves on any size herd
- trim tusks on mini pigs
- shear small flocks (under 10 animals)
- trim scurs (note: we can trim full size horns if they are causing an issue for the animal, but we do not take off past where the quick is. Ex. No removal of horns)
What do we not do?
We do not trim cattle or equines. I do not currently have the equipment to do so - however I am hoping to get a cattle chute within the year.
Expectations:
- animals are contained somewhere, and catchable
- warned of any aggressive behaviors
- no dogs (too many close calls)
