A reminder for my clients ❤️

I have had an increase of no shows lately and two back to back no shows this morning. Which is unfortunately a tough hit on a small business.

I completely understand things come up and plans change, it has happened to myself before as well. Life happens! I just ask that if you are unable to make your appointment, please give as much notice as possible. Even a quick message is appreciated.

I also want to remind everyone that grooming is a bit different from a regularly paid hourly job. I don’t get paid for just being here, if an appointment does not show up, I do not get paid for that time. Meaning I have missed out on $493.90 alone this month due to no shows.

I work hard to keep my schedule running smoothly and make sure I have appointments for everyone, so I would really appreciate the consideration and respect for my time❤️

Thank you for your understanding,
Danielle

Due to some personal reasons, I will be taking some time away from work august 18th - 29th to focus on my own health and wellbeing.

During this time I will not be answering messages or phone calls personally, but I will have someone else helping with messages, calls, scheduling and any questions that may come up while I am away from the studio.

I appreciate everyone’s understanding while I take this time for myself. Thank you all for your continued support and understanding 🤍

Why is grooming more than just a haircut?

One of the many benefits to getting your pet groomed regularly is that we get to know their body from their nose to their tail.

During this we can notice
* skin changes
* Tick, fleas or other parasites
* Ear concerns
* Unusual pain or sensitivity
* New lumps or bumps
* Sores, hot spots and scabs

We cannot diagnose any changes we notice, but we can let you know if we’ve found something new and if it’s worth monitoring and having your vet examine.

Some lumps and bumps can be completely harmless, but some can be more serious. The earlier they’re noticed the better.

If we ever mention something during your pets groom it’s not to alarm you it’s because we care about their health and want to keep your furry family members healthy.

Regular grooming isn’t just about looking good, it’s another set of caring eyes on your pet. We’re hands on with your pets and checking areas that some owners may not see regularly or feel. Such as under their legs, between their toes, armpits, behind their ears, under their tail and beneath their thick hair coat❤️

Sally appreciation post❤️

Sally has a big personality and an even bigger heart. Sally has struggled with anxiety for as long as I’ve known her. New environment, changes to her typical routine and unfamiliar situations can feel very overwhelming and overstimulating for her, which can make for a stressful grooming experience. When Sally first came to me she lacked confidence, wouldn’t come near me and I was unable to complete her first groom with me back in 2025.

Rather than pushing her beyond what she was comfortable with, Sally’s amazing mom and I worked together to help build her confidence and trust.

We started doing happy visits where Sally would solely come in just to spend time with me. I would sit on the floor, offer treats, give lots of praise and help her learn that both this space and I are not things she needs to be scared or anxious about. Little by little with each happy visit she became more comfortable, confident and trusting.

Today we want to celebrate how far she has come! 🤩 🥳

Sally has worked incredibly hard, her confidence continues to grow each time she comes in. Her trust in me becomes stronger each time she’s here with me. Watching her walk into the studio with so much confidence and trust has been such a rewarding journey because at one point simply walking through the door caused her significant anxiety.

We are also incredibly grateful for all the pet parents that are committed, supportive and patient through the process. Pet parents who trust their groomers professional advice and are willing to work with us and take time to make grooming less scary and anxiety filled experience for their pets. Progress does not happen overnight, but Sally is proof that constancy, trust and kindness can make a world of difference.

We are so proud of you Sally!!!🥰🎉

To all of my wonderful clients,

I want to sincerely apologize that I haven’t been slower getting back to messages, voicemails and phone calls. Appointment availability has been more limited recently.

As some of you may know Aysia is currently on leave for personal reasons. I am doing my best to accommodate her clients as well as my own. While I am working hard to fit everyone in in a timely manner, my schedule was already fully booked, so my response times and appointment availability may be effected the next little bit.

On top of this, my family has recently experienced a loss, as a family member passed away last week. I appreciate your patience and understanding as I navigate both personal and professional responsibilities at this time.

Please know I am doing my best to get back to everyone, answering messages and accommodating appointments as quickly as possible. Your support, kindness, and understanding mean more than you know.

Thank you for everyone’s continued patience and for trusting me with your pets.
