"Train the dog in front of you"

It sounds simple, easy.
But I hear it all the time, "my old dog wasn't like this" or "this breed is supposed to be different". In training we always take into account breed, age, temperment to help meet a dog's needs. But we also need to remember that each dog is an individual and deserves to be treated as such. When you start training the dog you have, your training journey will become easier
