River Run Kennels provides quality dog boarding and daycare in a lush 37-acre environment. Guests at our property enjoy all-inclusive leash-free play in a safe environment and nature walks through the woods. Our custom-built dog kennel facility is clean, safe, and climate-controlled year-round. We offer your pet spacious indoor/outdoor suites with a raised bed and covered patio for their private t

ime when not socializing and exercising. Our hours of operation are:
Weekday: 7:30 am - 7 pm
Saturday: 8 am - 5 pm
Sunday & Holidays: 9 am - 4 pm

To ensure our guests get the rest they need and deserve, we have specific Pick Up and Drop Off times:
Weekdays: 7:30 am - 9 am or 5 pm - 7 pm
Saturday: 8 am - 10 am or 3 pm - 5 pm
Sundays & Holidays: 9 am - 11 am or 2 pm - 4 pm

Cancellation Policy
Notification of cancellation must be given 48 hrs. in advance, or 1 week in advance during peak periods. Any cancellations under the indicated grace periods will be charged a cancellation fee. We offer dog grooming services onsite as well as professional behavioral training packages with a certified trainer.

River Run Kennels is looking for a reliable, hardworking, and dog-loving Weekend Kennel Attendant to join our team! 🐶

📍 Located in the Kemptville area

🕒 Weekend Shift Requirements:
• Saturday — 8:00 AM–10:00 AM & 3:00 PM–5:00 PM
• Sunday — 8:00 AM–11:00 AM & 2:00 PM–4:00 PM

🐾 Duties Include:
• Supervising and caring for dogs of all sizes and temperaments
• Feeding, refreshing water, and playtime supervision
• Cleaning kennels and play areas
• Administering medication if needed
• Monitoring dog behaviour and safety
• Ensuring all dogs are happy, healthy, and well cared for

✨ Ideal Candidate:
• Must be 18+
• Experience with dogs or animal care preferred
• Reliable and punctual
• Comfortable working independently
• Must have reliable transportation readily available in case of emergencies involving dogs in our care
• Must be available for all required weekend split shifts
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and in all weather conditions

🐾 WE’RE HIRING! – WEEKEND KENNEL ATTENDANT 🐾

River Run Kennels is looking for a reliable, hardworking, and animal-loving Kennel Attendant to join our weekend team!

🐶 Duties include:
• Supervising, playing with, and caring for all puppies and dogs staying at the kennel
• Feeding dogs as required
• Administering medication when needed
• Ensuring all dogs are safe, happy, and well cared for
• Cleaning play yards, refreshing water bowls, tidying kennel areas, and completing general kennel duties

✨ Requirements:
• Must be 18 years of age or older
• Must be available for split shifts on either Saturdays or Sundays
• Must have previous pet care or animal handling experience
• Must have reliable transportation and access to a vehicle during shifts in case of emergencies involving the dogs in our care
• Comfortable handling dogs of all sizes and personalities
• Reliable, punctual, responsible, and energetic
