Life is supposed to be peaceful.
Horses have so much to teach people about life. A calm horse is not a depressed horse. A horse is a prey animal, and because of that when they feel safe they conserve their energy. This is so they can outrun a predator if one appears.

People are always looking for dopamine, instant pleasure, instant fixes and adrenaline. This is good in moderation, but we humans tend to way overdo it and want to see the same excitement in the horses. Too much excitement in a horse always tells me their nervous system is not regulated (and as a prey animal that makes them feel very "on edge" and unsafe)
