We’re so excited to share an update on Nash! ❤️

Nash has officially found his forever home and is now living his best life in Sicamous, BC!

Nash has settled right into his new life and is enjoying all the adventures that come with it. From exploring the outdoors to spending time with his family, this handsome boy is clearly loving every minute of his new beginning. 🥹❤️

And Nash has even become the face of his mom’s dog gear business! We’d say he’s pretty perfect for the job, especially with that handsome face!

We couldn’t be happier seeing Nash thriving in his forever home and getting to experience all the love, adventure, and happiness he deserves. ❤️

We’re so grateful to everyone who was part of Nash’s journey and helped him get to where he is today. It truly takes a village to give these animals the chance at the lives they deserve.

Congratulations, Nash! We’re so happy you found your people. 🥹💗🐾

We have some very special news to share… Nori is officially living her best life! ❤️🥹

After finding her forever family, Nori made the journey to Smithers, BC, where she has settled into her new life surrounded by love, adventure, and her people. 🏔️🐶

From hiking new trails to spending time with her family, Nori is doing exactly what every rescue dog deserves to do — living life to the fullest. 🥹💗

It makes our hearts so happy to see her exploring, making memories, and enjoying all the adventures that come with her new life. She has truly found her people and her happy place. 🐾❤️

We’re so grateful to everyone who played a part in Nori’s journey and helped get her to where she is today. Rescue truly takes a village, and every person who loved, cared for, supported, or cheered Nori on helped make this happy ending possible. 🥰

Now, Nori’s rescue days are behind her, and she gets to spend her days hiking, exploring, cuddling, and making memories with her forever family. 🏔️🐾

We couldn’t be happier for you, Nori! We miss you, but seeing you living your best life makes it all worth it. ❤️

A community celebration that helps us keep saying yes to animals who need us. ❤️

On Sunday, September 20, Kelowna Veterinary Hospital is hosting its 80th anniversary celebration, with all proceeds from the event supporting the Kelowna Veterinary Care Foundation and the animals in our care.

Join us from 1–5 PM at 1853 Munson Road for:

🐾 Vaccines by donation
🐾 Free microchips with BC SPCA
🐾 Nail trims by donation
🐾 Free ear cleaning
🐾 Food trucks and local vendors
🐾 Live music, petting area, pet swag and more

Every dollar raised helps KVCF provide veterinary care, rehabilitation and second chances to animals in our community.

The Kelowna Veterinary Care Foundation works alongside local veterinarians, rescues, and our community to help families access essential veterinary care when financial barriers stand in the way.

We have some very exciting news to share. Buttercup has officially been adopted! ❤️

Buttercup is now Georgie and is heading to Summerland to start her new life with her forever family. 🥹

We couldn’t be happier for this sweet girl and the new chapter she is about to begin. Georgie has found a family who will love her, spoil her, and give her the happy life she deserves. ❤️

We are so grateful to everyone who has been part of Buttercup’s journey and helped her get to this point. From the people who cared for her along the way to everyone who cheered her on, it truly takes a village to get these animals where they belong.

Now it’s time for Buttercup to leave her rescue days behind and settle into life as Georgie, a beloved family member with a forever home to call her own.

🐾 SPECIAL NEEDS ADOPTION CASE: MEET QP🐾

QP is a very special 11-years-young gentleman who is looking for the right home to spend his senior years. ❤️

He is an extremely sweet and affectionate cat who absolutely loves being close to his people once he feels comfortable. QP can be a little shy at first, so he is looking for a quiet, calm home where he can settle in at his own pace and spend his days cuddled up beside someone who loves him.

QP has asthma, which requires ongoing management, and he has also been prone to urinary crystals, so he needs to remain on a special urinary diet.

Because QP deserves every chance at finding his person, an incredibly generous donor has fully sponsored his adoption fee.

We will also send QP home with his first month of urinary food to help his new family get started.

QP would do best as the only cat in the home. He is not looking for a busy household or lots of excitement. He is looking for someone who wants a sweet companion to curl up with, keep them company, and enjoy a peaceful life together.

At 11 years old, QP still has so much love to give. We know that a senior cat with some extra medical needs can be harder to place, so we really need our community's help to find the person who will see just how wonderful this boy is.

Please help us find QP a home where he can spend his senior years feeling safe, comfortable, and completely loved. ❤️
