Meet Little Bits of Love 🩶

Little Bits of Love is a beautiful 3-year-old brown tabby with a gentle soul and a heart full of love to give.

This sweet girl absolutely adores people and forms strong bonds with those around her. She enjoys companionship, affection, and simply being near her humans. Whether she's following you around the house, curling up nearby, or greeting you at the door, Little Bits loves being part of the family.

Little Bits would thrive in a home that can offer her both a safe indoor space and secure access to the outdoors. She enjoys exploring, watching the world go by, and satisfying her curious nature, but she also appreciates having a warm, comfortable place to return to where she feels safe and loved.

She is looking for a family who will cherish her sweet personality and provide the stability, companionship, and care she deserves. In return, she'll reward you with loyalty, affection, and plenty of purrs.

If you're searching for a loving companion with a gentle spirit and a big heart, Little Bits of Love may be the perfect addition to your family.

🐾 Community Care Contribution: $200

Meet Daisy & Peach 🧡🩶

Daisy and Peach are two beautiful 8-year-old Domestic Short Hair sisters searching for a home where they can continue their journey together.

These lovely girls have spent their entire lives side by side and share a special bond that simply cannot be broken. Because of this, Daisy and Peach are looking for a home where they can be adopted as a pair and remain together for the rest of their lives.

Both cats absolutely adore people and thrive on human companionship. They enjoy attention, affection, and being part of the family. Whether they're following you around the house, curling up nearby, or simply keeping you company, these sisters have plenty of love to give.

Daisy and Peach would do best as the only pets in the home, allowing them to enjoy a calm environment where they can be the centre of your attention and continue sharing the close relationship they have always known.

These girls are also looking for a family committed to helping them on their weight-loss journey. Maintaining a healthy weight will help improve their comfort, mobility, and overall quality of life as they enjoy their senior years together.

If you're looking for double the love, double the companionship, and the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of two wonderful cats, Daisy and Peach may be the perfect match.

🐾 Community Care Contribution: $200 for the pair

Help us find these sweet sisters the forever home they deserve, together, just as they've always been.

Meet Murphy 💙

Murphy is a handsome 12-year-old Australian Shepherd looking for a special place to spend his golden years.

Like many senior dogs, Murphy isn't asking for much. His wish list is simple: a soft bed, a loving family, and a safe, comfortable home where he can enjoy the retirement he deserves.

Murphy still has plenty of love left to give. He enjoys spending time with his people, receiving affection, and being part of everyday life. He has spent years being a loyal companion and is now looking for someone to return that love and devotion.

Senior pets are often overlooked, but they have so much to offer. They are grateful, loving, and make wonderful companions for families looking to make a real difference in an animal's life.

If you have room in your heart and home for a sweet senior boy, Murphy would love to meet you.

🐾 **Community Care Contribution: $150**

Help us give Murphy the happy, comfortable retirement he deserves.

🐾 COURTESY POST – Rosie is Looking for a Home 🐾

**Please note: Rosie is NOT in the care of the Kelowna Veterinary Care Foundation. We are simply helping share her story in hopes of finding her a wonderful home.**

Meet Rosie ❤️

Rosie is a sweet senior girl, approximately 13½ years old and 37 lbs of pure love. She was rescued from the Kauai Humane Society after being surrendered in rough condition — underweight, covered in fleas, and suffering from parasites. Despite her difficult start, Rosie has remained a gentle, affectionate, and resilient dog who simply wants to be loved.

Rosie is deaf and requires ongoing allergy medication and eye drops, but she still has plenty of pep in her step and enjoys her walks, playtime, and spending time with her people. She is described as gentle, loving, and easy to walk.

Unfortunately, Rosie has not been able to safely coexist with the smaller dogs in her current home and has shown repeated aggression toward them. For this reason, she is seeking a home where she can be the **only dog**. She generally does well seeing other dogs while out on walks, but she needs a home where she does not have to share her living space with other pets.

Rosie deserves a soft place to land and a family who will help her enjoy her golden years surrounded by love, comfort, and kindness.

If you think you may be the right fit for Rosie, **please contact us and we will happily connect you with her current owner.**

Please share to help Rosie find the loving retirement home she deserves. ❤️🐾

Meet Vinny 💛

Vinny is a beautiful two-year-old Maine C**n mix facing his second major hip surgery after an incredibly painful and devastating orthopedic condition affected both of his hips.

His loving family has already sacrificed so much — extra shifts, longer days, and financial strain — just to give him the care he deserves.
This is exactly why the Kelowna Veterinary Care Foundation exists.
Because no family should have to lose their beloved pet simply because life-saving veterinary care is out of reach.

Thanks to our amazing veterinary partners at Kelowna Veterinary Hospital, Vinny’s surgery is being completed at cost, but we still need help covering over $2,000 in surgical and medical expenses.

If Vinny’s story resonates with you and you would like to help, donations can now be sent via e-transfer to:

📧 [email protected]
🔐 Password: VINNY

Every dollar will go directly toward Vinny’s veterinary bill and help us continue supporting local families facing unexpected veterinary emergencies.
Thank you for supporting animals like Vinny and the people who love them. 💛

🐾 DOG FOSTERS NEEDED 🐾

Kelowna Veterinary Care Foundation is currently looking for compassionate dog fosters. If you have a safe, loving home and are willing to help a dog in need, please message us today. ❤️

Fostering truly saves lives. Many of the dogs coming into our care simply need a temporary place to feel safe, decompress, heal, and receive love while they wait for their forever homes.

We provide the essentials including food, veterinary care, medical supplies, and ongoing support — all you need to provide is a caring and safe environment.

Whether you can foster short-term or longer-term, every single foster home makes a difference and helps us continue supporting animals in our community.

Please send us a message if you are interested in fostering or would like more information. 🐾

🐾 Second Chance, New Beginnings 🐾

Opal came into the foundation as an owner surrender and quickly made herself right at home in foster care while she waited for the perfect match. From the very beginning, her fun-loving personality and adventurous spirit shined through, and it was clear she was going to make an amazing addition to the right family.

It wasn’t long before Opal found her forever home, and she has been living her best life ever since. 🩵

Now, her days are filled with adventure, love, and plenty of excitement. She spends her time going on hikes, exploring the outdoors, and keeping her family on their toes with her goofy, energetic personality. Whether she’s out on an adventure or curled up relaxing at home afterward, Opal is fully embracing her new life.

She also loves spending time with her kitty siblings and has settled beautifully into her forever home. Seeing her confidence, happiness, and personality continue to grow has been so special for everyone who followed her journey.

At the foundation, stories like Opal’s remind us that sometimes all it takes is the right match, a little patience, and a loving home for an animal to truly thrive. We are so happy this sweet girl found exactly where she was meant to be. 🩵
