Food Truck Operator

Seasonal Position: March - October 2026

General Requirements:

- Valid Food Safe Certification
- Previous experience in food service, food trucks, or concession style cooking
- Strong knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent customer service
- Flexible schedule including weekends
- Ability to stand for extended periods

Key Responsibilities:

-Oversee all daily food truck operations•
-Prepare and cook concession-style menu items efficiently
- Open and close the truck including full setup and takedown
- Manage inventory and pick up food, beverages and supplies from approved vendors
- Ensure truck is stocked and ready at all times•
- Handle cash management and POS system

$22/hour to start

An FYI that we've suspended the booking system for the rest of the season and returning to the walk-in-and-pay system. No booking or reservation necessary. Those of you who already have tickets will still be able to use them, regardless of what date they have on them. Use the ticket any time you like up to the end of the season.

Well, it seems that Winter isn't over and the weather is deteriorating. While we are still opening this Saturday, you might want to consider waiting for the weather to improve. We want everyone to have a good time. For those of you who have already purchased tickets, don't worry. We will honor any ticket which has not been processed regardless of when you decide to use it, or you can cancel your order.

Punch cards are now available through our website. Just click on the shopping cart icon.

Cards are $150 plus GST each. The card has 10 punches. Each punch represents a person coming into the farm (regardless of age). This means that if an adult uses the card in high season they'll save 50 percent!

The cards are mounted in an attractive card produced by our resident artist Wendy Brunell.

The cards never expire and will work in anyone's hand so you can lend it to a friend or gift a partially used card.

Free delivery by mail. Makes a great Christmas present!

Happy Thanksgiving everyone!

We are open on Friday 11th, Saturday 12th, Sunday 13th and Monday 14th from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. After than we are closed for the season.

Low season rates of $20 adults, $10 youth (5yrs to 18yrs), $10 seniors (65 yrs+), 4yrs and under free.

Punch cards are now available and can be purchased up until May 31st. $150 for 10 punches. Buy them at admissions when we are open, or order them on our website. Save $5 per adult in low season and $15 per adult in high season. They make great Christmas gifts. They don't expire and they can be shared with friends and family.

Deer come out at dusk. The Okanagan Center Road area is notorious for this. They are on the road EVERY evening. There is a reason why there is a 30 km speed limit on some of the turns. Slow Down.
