Ruff Rambles Group walks for happy, friendly dogs. Welcome to Ruff Rambles. I can pick up your dog from your home or work and bring them back happy and socialized.

My dog Fergus and I take dogs to the dog-park or if you prefer, we walk and explore your neighbourhood and the many parks in Kelowna. Not everyone is comfortable leaving their pet at daycare all day and it's sad to leave them alone while you're at work. I am very reliable and will look after your dog like my own. I am licensed, bonded, insured and have Dog First Aid. Your dog must be non-aggressiv

e and be able to socialize with other dogs. I provide 1.5 hour walks (which can take a little longer-collecting the dogs and getting to our destination and back)

Boarding is $30.00 per day (250.00 for pack of 10 days) with one dog park visit and a short walk per day. Your dog spends the day with me and when we're back at home, your dog will spend time in the centre of the activity with lots of visits to the backyard. I insist on lots of rules and manners but I keep it fun. Please visit my "Dog Park Art" album. I make art centred on the dogs I meet and their activities as they play at the dog park. You can observe the true nature of each individual dog when they are set free to interact with each other naturally with minimal influence from their owners. Their personalities vary as much as their shapes and sizes and their mix of breed is often difficult to determine, but it is a pastime of many of us, who visit the park, to try and guess what it might be. I draw the images with pencil, then India Ink and water colour paints on 9.5 x 12.5 90 lb and 110 lb acid free paper. Unframed- $180.00

I would like to encourage everyone who cares about the Rowcliffe Dog Park, soon to be the Central Green, to write or email Terry Barton, (Parks and Public Places Manager for Kelowna). He has come up with a plan for this park that includes an off-leash dog park where the plan previously did not include a place for dogs at all. Also have a look at Kelowna Dog Association on Facebook. You can leave a comment there too. The park they are proposing is sadly lacking in space in my opinion. I hope they change their minds and allow more room for the dogs. There are so many of us using the park as it is now. There are 1000 dogs a week using this park in the summer. How will we all fit in there?
