Rosy Bourke hens typically lay 3 to 6 eggs per clutch, which are incubated for about 18-20 days. After laying eggs, they may remain in the nest box for several weeks to feed their young, sometimes for an additional couple of weeks or more. It's common for a hen to lay eggs while still caring for her young, and they may not leave the nest box for a significant period after laying.
