If I could figure out how many times I've rearranged the bunny room I would totally announce it.
I'm sure it's almost 100 times. Some day I'll look through all of my photos and see how many different set ups I can find.

My back is breaking.

Aside from that I thought maybe I would ask here in case someone has something we're looking for.

We had an incident after my last rearranging of the room and Chandler tried to electrocute himself. It's funny which bunnies will chew cords and which ones won't. Joey who was previously there didn't touch it; Chandler thought he needed more spark in his life. Before he actually was successful in getting some action, I put a cord cover on it and ZAP, I was the one who saw sparks!
Needless to say we're looking for a new light. One that hangs on the wall and plugs in. I have a cord cover so I'll be on that as fast as Lilith (our rabbit) hunts down Wilma (our cat) to express her love to him 🤭

I'm also looking for floor paint and a primer if possible? I know that's probably a tough one but that floor is so ugly.
During the last big clean I decided to take up the crappy peeling faux tiles that had accumulated so much dirt,, pellet and hay dust in the last 3 years. It was beyond gross. Now we're left with a cement floor that's not easy on the eyes.
I'm wishing to add more beauty in there then the darkness that currently exists.

If anyone should have any of these things and want to donate them I'm happy to receive.

Hi everyone,

I wanted to take this time to give you an update on our sweet boy Pepper.

Pepper went to the vet this morning with his Foster and as I predicted he is having a tooth issue however it is not as bad as Marshalls was.
He has some sharp bits on the left side of his teeth that were irritating his tongue, etc. He will go under sedation next week to have his teeth trimmed. His back molars were totally fine and just in case his kidneys were checked for stones but that was clear as well.
If you are in the position to help us out for next week's procedure we would be very blessed to have your support.
If not as always please share this post with as many as you can so that our needs are known far and wide.
There's also still plenty of time to sign up for our October Passport Challenge! $20 gets to you a ticket and you have until October 31st at 11:59 p.m. to shop if you wish at the 10 amazing businesses that are partnering with us. If you do shop and make a purchase please send us a copy of your receipt to our email so that you can have another entry into the grand prize of over $600 worth of items donated from the businesses supporting us this month.

Here is the link for your ticket from Zeffy.

So as I posted a bit ago, "When it rains it pours!"

Sickness and illness seems to come in droves around here.

We recently had Marshall in to the vet for his dental trim. He took an extra while to recover but finally seems like he's "back to normal" basically.

Now, we are dealing with his brother Pepper. I can totally understand having one child get sick and then pass it to the next child, but guinea pigs!?

Pepper has no interest in food. He's cowering away and at times looking fluffed up and has lost some weight.

His weight is being maintained however from receiving critical care by his amazing foster and he is also getting metacam. We could not get an appointment until Wednesday so we are doing what we can (myself via messenger and his foster front and center) in the meantime.

Could it be his teeth? A UTI? Infection?
We have no clue. I'm personally guessing it's his teeth too.

Here's the deal. We need help. We will have to pay his vet visit Wednesday and depending on that possibly more depending on the issue.

We have our October Passport Challenge still running until the 31st which is an awesome way to help!

Just $20 gets you entered into the grand prize for over $600+ of wonderful items and passes from the 10 businesses participating with us. If you shop at one of these businesses before the end of the month and make a purchase, send us a copy of your receipt, that's ANOTHER entry into the draw.

Another way you can help is by sending an etransfer to us at [email protected] BUT I will not let it go unnoticed, so everyone who does send a donation needs to add their mailing address in the message section of the etransfer as I will be sending everyone a gift in the mail.

We are also in the process of getting toques made with our logo on them and are taking orders. Each torque is $25 and you have your choice of many colors!
Black
Red
Navy
Pink
Light pink
Whiten
Cream
Tan
Etc….

If you would like to purchase a toque please send us a message.

These are just a few of the ways you can help and we would appreciate it so so much ❤️

If you can't help, please share this post wherever you can. That does amazing things as well!

Thank you for being here and supporting us in every way you can.
❤️

It's Sunday, October 18th!!!

What are you up to today?

The month is a bit more than halfway over. There's roughly 13 days until the end of the month. Still lots of time to join us in our October Passport Challenge!
https://www.zeffy.com/en-CA/ticketing/october-shopping-passport-challenge

You could literally buy the pass on October 31st, go shopping at any of the participating businesses, go home, send us a copy of your receipt and be entered with at least one chance of winning the $600+ grand prize when the fundraiser is over. It's as simple and easy as that!

If you want a head start on your Christmas shopping or just want to spoil yourself It's the perfect reason to do so.

When you purchase your ticket, 100% of it goes right back to us!
Then when you shop at the participating businesses you're supporting local, and bonus... businesses supporting small animals. It doesn't get better than that!

We're curious to know if any of you are still thinking about signing up?

I had a goal of $5000 from this fundraiser but I'm pretty sure that won't happen, but who knows; miracles happen every day.

If you can do us two favors today, please can you share our fundraiser, and consider signing up for our October Passport Challenge? The easiest and best way to support our little friends right now ❤️
Maybe we can buy Joey and Chandler a get-a-long shirt 😁

We hope you have a wonderful day!
Enjoy the sunshine 🌞

PASSPORT SPOTLIGHT: TOWNHOUSE BEAUTY AND BRIDAL (KANATA)! ✨💇‍♀️
Ready for a little weekend pampering?
Today, we are shining our official challenge spotlight on another incredible partner on our map:
Townhouse Beauty and Bridal in Kanata!

If you haven't visited their beautiful space yet, you are missing out on a local gem.
They are known for top-tier beauty and hair services.
❤️Coincidentally, I met Angie; the owner almost 15 years ago when she worked for another salon. She was incredibly amazing and I always asked for her every time I booked my appointment. She eventually left there and my hair was sad 🤭
Flash forward to almost 10 years ago when she appeared in my neighborhood and opened her salon in her home!!! ❤️

She has a massive heart for animals and immediately stepped up to help us raise critical rescue funds this month.

How to turn your self-care day into life-saving rescue funds:
1. 🎟️ Grab your digital passport ticket right now for just $20 via our secure Zeffy link: https://www.zeffy.com/en-CA/ticketing/october-shopping-passport-challenge
(100% of ticket sales fund our medical care and rescue operations!)

2. 🛍️ Book an appointment at Townhouse Beauty and Bridal this week for a retail treat or book a service.
3. 🧾 Snap a quick photo of your receipt and upload it via your digital passport link.

Your receipt instantly scores you an extra entry into our massive $600+ ULTIMATE GRAND PRIZE MEGAPACK—which features a luxury premium hair care package (including an Avanti Ultra styling brush and amika products) donated directly by Townhouse Beauty and Bridal themselves! 🎁✨

Their hours are Wednesday to Friday 12-8
Saturday 10-3

Let’s show some massive love to the local business owners who champion our foster animals.
Pamper yourself, support local independent business, and save small pets this October! 🍁🐰

Our SWEET Flopsy ❤️

Flopsy is going to be 4 years old at the end of November.

He is a special dude! It took a bit to understand him, but once we recognized his own special personality, it was then time and patience for him to learn that we were to be trusted.

The fact that I can now even "briefly" brush him and hold him to move him to wherever I need him to be without it being a huge stressor for him if huge!

Once he loves you, it's beautiful. Before he loves you it's sweet anticipation of a wonderful friendship to come.

❤️

For information on adopting Flopsy, please send us a message.

Flopsy is a 3 year old, neutered male.
Shy and anxious. He needs someone patient, and calm and respectful of his ways.

My girls and I play Roblox together, (mainly so I can see what they're playing). I found this game once called Farmstead and when I found out I could have bunnies in the game I knew what I was going to do.
This is just a little video to show you what I created once to keep all the buns close to me that I have loved (and will love forever). Although they're just on a game, it's still a special place ❤️
I like to visit them, and be reminded of special times.
I hope you enjoy this.
