Pete is usually a more anxious guy, so seeing the slow blinks, big yawns, stretches, and casual paw cleaning during our visits means a lot. He’s learned that I’m a safe, familiar part of his routine, and I’m so honoured to have earned that trust 🤍

New merch calls for a photoshoot… with the boys, of course. 🐾

My Pawsitively Purrfect shirt arrived on Luma & Lee’s 2nd birthday, so naturally we had to take a few photos together. 🤍

Luma went first, then Lee got his turn — followed by me delivering their very important kitty birthday buffet. 😸🎂

It felt pretty fitting to have these two be part of my first merch photos. They’re a big part of why cats hold such a special place in my heart, and why I love getting to care for other people’s kitties through Pawsitively Purrfect.

Their actual birthday celebrations deserve a post of their own, though. 🐈🐈 Coming soon… ✨

Farley is the definition of “slow and steady wins the race.” 💕

This beautiful, fluffy girl is usually very shy around anyone who isn’t her pet parents. Rather than rushing the process, we let her set the pace.

One thing that helped was using a fuzzy wand as a gentle buffer between us. It allowed Farley to investigate from a distance, get used to my scent, and build confidence without feeling overwhelmed by someone being too close.

Now she’s been napping comfortably, eating while we’re nearby, and even sniffing both my hand and my mom’s. Every small step is a big win when you’re earning the trust of a shy cat.

The best relationships aren’t rushed—they’re built with patience, respect, and letting each cat decide when they’re ready. 💚🐾

Carl has one rule: never stop brushing. 🖤

This handsome guy lives for chin scratches and a good brushing session. The moment you stop, he’ll gently grab the brush with his little paws as if to say, “Excuse me… I wasn’t finished yet.” 😹

Sweet, affectionate, and always living his best life, Carl knows exactly what he wants.

This is the current view from my home. With wildfire smoke affecting our area, your pet’s safety always comes first.

If air quality becomes unsafe, outdoor dog walks and adventures may be adjusted to in-home drop-in visits with brief potty breaks, followed by indoor play, enrichment, cuddles, and companionship.

If you’re away, I’m prepared. Before every booking, I ensure I have your designated emergency contacts, travel information, veterinarian contact information, and a signed Absent Owner Form authorizing emergency veterinary care at our local emergency animal hospital if you’re unavailable. While Pawsitively Purrfect is a solo-operated business, I also have trusted support available should an emergency ever arise, ensuring your pets continue to receive safe, consistent care.

Thank you for your understanding as I make decisions based on current conditions and each pet’s individual needs. 🧡🐾
