Everyone give a big Happy Birthday to Berta!!!🥳 🎉 🎊 Big Berta turned 20 today! Berta has been with us since before we came to Sun Peaks Resort 13 years ago. Her main job in winter is training the younger horses how to do their job. She is semi retired now but still enjoys getting out on the sleigh and taking people for rides. Come visit her in the village this winter!

All this snow is getting us excited for the upcoming winter season! We have opened our bookings calendar for sleigh rides. Planned opening for sleigh rides is mid December. We have private sleigh rides available and we have brought back our public per seat or bench pricing this winter.

Happy Birthday Henry! This boy turned 2 today. He's growing up so quickly. Henry is too young to start working but he's excited that we are opening this weekend for our summer operations! Do you love working with horses? Do you enjoy meeting people from all over the world(well maybe once travel restrictions are lifted)? Are you friendly and outgoing?

We are looking for you! We are currently hiring for a full time guide position here at Sun Peaks Stables. Qualified persons need valid first aid, 19+ years of age, minimum 3 years horse experience, legal to work in Canada and have the ability to commute to Sun Peaks as we do not have staff accommodation. We need someone available full time from now until the end of September. Full time winter job opportunities for the right candidate.

Duties include
- Guiding guests on trail rides
- Feeding, grooming and barn chores
- Assisting with lessons and stable tours
- Handling young horses
