Together with Elemental Equestrian, we are so excited to announce that we will be offering the Equine Canada Rider Level Program right here in Kamloops, BC! 🐴

Did you know that riders can earn high school credits through the Equine Canada Rider Level Program?

Beyond developing riding skills, the program focuses on equine knowledge, horse care and horsemanship, helping riders become more confident, knowledgeable and well-rounded equestrians.

Open to both youth and adult riders, the Rider Level Program provides a structured pathway for learning and development, with clear goals and achievements to work toward as you progress through the levels.

At Sun Meadows, we offer the coaching, preparation and education to help riders develop the skills and knowledge needed to successfully complete their Rider Level evaluations. From riding lessons to theory and practical horse care, we’re excited to help riders work toward their next goals!

Our first evaluation date is November 7th!

We are also opening our doors to the local equestrian community! Riders from other barns and programs are welcome to join us at our beautiful facility for Rider Level evaluations on November 7th.

Whether you’re looking for coaching and preparation, interested in our upcoming theory sessions, or simply ready to complete your next Rider Level, we’d love to hear from you!

Please reach out for evaluation fees, upcoming session dates and information on how to participate.

We look forward to welcoming riders from across the Kamloops equestrian community!

Come Fly with Me 🤎

So much love for this horse and over the moon excited that he will be staying in barn to continue his journey with Erika Eng!

Thank you so much to the O’Neill family for making this possible! We couldn’t be more grateful! 🥹

The older I get, I more I realize that I have much to be thankful for and it isn’t at all what I thought it would be when I was younger.

It’s the FaceTime call that rings before your morning alarm has gone off, because your sister wants to chat on her way to work.

It’s the text from your dad that shares location with you that says “looks like you made it” when you roll into Tbird.

It’s the laughs in the barn when the work is all done and the staff could rush home, but instead they sit around hanging and chatting like we didn’t just spend all morning together.

It’s watching your sons grow into strong, healthy, determined young men right before your eyes.

It’s a partner that bends over backwards to help in anyway he can and gives all of his love to our family.

It’s good health!

It’s knowing that you have a choice in who you surround yourself with. There are so many people that love and appreciate you.

And to my mom. When if the world does feel like it’s crashing down, she is only a phone call away.

I’d say that’s a lot to be thankful for!

Happy Thanksgiving to all of our family and friends!

May you be loved and surrounded by those you cherish today 🦃🍁🍂

As promised, our four exciting October announcements are underway! And the first one is probably no surprise to anyone… you guys kept asking, and we listened!

It’s official - our fall/winter school horse lesson program is back!

We honestly couldn’t believe the response from the community. Our initial spaces filled incredibly quickly, but with two more lesson horses joining our program, we’re excited to be able to open up a limited number of additional spaces for new students.

Whether you’re just getting started or looking to continue developing your riding this winter, we’d love to have you join us.

Limited spaces are now available.

And that’s only announcement #1… three more October announcements still to come! 👀

Holy moly! We definitely weren’t expecting this response! 😳

Less than 24 hours after announcing the return of our lesson program, we are completely booked up!

Thank you so much to everyone who reached out. We’re really excited to have a busy barn full of riders heading into the winter.

With that being said, we would love to be able to accommodate a few more riders and are looking for suitable lesson horses in the Kamloops area.📍

If you have a safe, suitable horse that could be used in our lesson program 2–3 times per week, we would be interested in. exchanging discounted board and training this winter.

This could be a great fit for someone who would like to reduce some of their winter horse expenses, keep their horse working consistently, and have them based at our facility and within our program.

If you think your horse 🐴 could be a good fit and would like to take advantage of this opportunity, send us a message and let’s chat!

OUR WINTER LESSON PROGRAM IS BACK!

After popular demand, we’re excited to bring our lesson program back for the fall and winter season at Sun Meadows Equestrian Centre.

From beginner youth riders to adult amateurs .. and everything in between, our program is designed to meet riders where they are and help them work toward wherever they’d like to go.

Whether your goal is learning to canter confidently, getting back in the saddle after years away, improving your skills, or preparing for the show ring, all goals are great goals!

We specialize in show jumpers, hunters and equitation, with instruction available for youth and adults from beginner through intermediate levels.

Discounts are available for riders committing to weekly instruction.

⭐️ We are also looking to add a select few suitable horses to our lesson program this winter. If you own a safe, suitable horse and would be interested in a part-time lease arrangement, we would love to hear from you. In exchange for your horse participating in a limited number of lessons, we can create a customized arrangement that may include discounted board and/or lessons for the owner — a great option for owners looking to reduce monthly costs while keeping their horse in a professional, well-managed program.
Come spend the winter riding with us in our heated indoor arena, surrounded by a supportive community of riders who enjoy learning, improving and spending time at the barn.

At Sun Meadows, you don’t have to have show-ring ambitions to belong in the program. Big goals, small goals, competitive goals or simply becoming a better, more confident rider — all goals are great goals.

Limited spaces are available.

Message us to learn more about lesson packages, weekly discounts and part-time lease opportunities.
