🍁🦃 Happy Thanksgiving Weekend from Absolute Kennels! 🐾🤎
This weekend, we’re counting our blessings, enjoying the beautiful fall weather, and giving thanks for all the furry, four-legged characters who make our days a little brighter (and occasionally a whole lot louder)! 😂🐕
Some are thankful for belly rubs, some for extra treats, and others are simply thankful that nobody has figured out how to stop them from rolling in the mud. 🐾🍂
We’re especially grateful for our wonderful community and the families who trust us with their beloved pets. Whether your Thanksgiving is filled with family, friends, good food, or a little peace and quiet, we hope your weekend brings plenty of laughter, love, and full hearts. ❤️
🌿 A moment of acknowledgement: As we celebrate gratitude this weekend, we also recognize that Thanksgiving holds different meanings and histories for different people. We respectfully acknowledge that we live, work, and gather on the traditional, unceded ancestral lands of the Secwépemc Nation, specifically the territory of the Tk̓emlúps te Secwépemc. We honour the Indigenous peoples whose connection to this land continues today, and recognize that gratitude also means respect, understanding, and responsibility.
From our little corner of Rayleigh to yours, have a beautiful Thanksgiving weekend! 🍁
And remember… the turkey is for the humans. No matter WHAT those puppy-dog eyes tell you. 👀🦃🐶
With love and muddy paws,
❤️ The Absolute Kennels Crew
