Snickers is growing up beautifully (even though she is in her funny long yearling growth right now) she is so sharp looking with her dark dappled bay and big blaze. Next year can't come soon enough to see how she moves out under saddle, I think she will be phenomenal.

Our 4 yr old gelding
Was an absolute solid gentleman at the group session

He seemed to have gone from what I considered “behind” this early spring haha to excelling in life over this year

His nature is what dreamy horses are all about, kind, personable, gentle & patient

We are all riding him, our teenager has been spending a lot of time on him

He is proving why we love this pedigree
We always knew he’d be this way, just needed the summer to grow into him self abit more

And that he did

He looks stunning

I am pretty sure you can figure out what we’re saying even though you can’t really hear us because we’re not wearing microphones and not planned this out. We just propped the Cellphone up on the side of the arena to get this.

Mostly, it’s Jordan telling me to run around and flap the tarp

And then he wanted me to go right behind him and flap it as much as I could

Which I think the Horse was just more concerned for Candice as well-being than the actual tarp

Hahaha

He is being such a good boy and handling this all so well

We are building him up

It was super windy out

Perfect time to pull out a tarp 😆

This horse is in for training - specifically to help him manage his emotions and reactions

We want him to be super calm & think through a situation- as we do on any horse !!!

But this guy came already pretty darn broke to ride buuuttt lacking in some reaction & emotional control

So we keep putting the test to him

We start off with Jordan using the tarp in the wind and just letting it be everywhere all over him at a walk and try it. We can’t lope him a lot just because of his own fitness level and that he just can’t hold a lope for a really long time so you got to work around all of this.

And then the next part will be Candice running around absolutely bonkers with the tarp and I think all he does is question her own fitness ability haha

To the point I told Jordan I should make a habit of actually catching him with a real halter some times
He just follows me everywhere I go

Nellie - one of the youngsters that came for training with Jordan

this is Ryder on here
I know! he looks so grown

He has been riding the youngsters at the house this summer with his dad and we will be doing a long video of the other horses he's riding too

Nellie has been a super star! I love everything about her and wish she was ours haha

she is so much like silver
this breeding program from Bar Ovr S Quarter Horses has been a staple in our program and herd. We now mostly own mares bred by Randy's program that we are out-crossing to some of Canadas top athletes with all the incentives to make some serious money in the future as contenders

Randy at Bar Over S has 2 geldings available that Jordan as rode this spring and we think pretty highly of them. If you are looking for a prospect I'd scoop one or both up before their prices jack up with more experience under their belts. These horses tend to sell quickly and are so limited to how many randy has left and how many we have available
