Christmas in July!

Stroud Veterinary Hospital did nail trims in December and collected pet food for our foodbank. We couldn’t take the whole donation at once, due to limited holiday space - so today, Monique and Hailey popped in with 293 lbs of pet food for us.
It’s Christmas in July! 🎄 Woohoo 🙌🏻

Thank you to Stroud Veterinary Hospital for bringing us 320 pounds of pet food and toys!🙌🏻

An important reminder: A local family recently found a bat inside their home. The bat was tested and came back positive for rabies. Thankfully, no one was hurt, and we as staff took all precautions—but it’s a powerful reminder of why ALL pets need rabies vaccinations, even if they never go outside.

Bats and other wildlife can enter homes through chimneys, attics, or small openings. Indoor pets can still be exposed, and rabies is almost always fatal once symptoms appear.

Keeping your pets up to date on rabies vaccines protects your pets, your family, and your community.

If you find a bat in your home, don’t touch it—keep people and pets away and contact animal control or your local health department.
