Cece went on her first big outward-bound adventure today to push cows!

​She took everything in great stride! While we started off pretty excited when we first arrived, she settled in amazingly well.
​We’ve been working hard on body control and finding more and more softness with the bit. When excitement kicks in, those pieces can temporarily get lost—but the best thing about being out on the range is that you have all day to work through it and learn. It’s such a fantastic place to put training skills to real, practical use!

​We didn’t quite get any gates open today, but that’s definitely on our checklist for the rest of the week. 😉
​So proud of this girl. Great job, Cece! (I'm definitely going to be sad to see this one go home!) 💓✨

Loaded you up like a ranch pony today and hit the road to go move some cows.

​I don’t even know if Melner had ever seen a cow before today, but the second we got out there?

She ROCKED it. That immediate, ancient instinct to push cattle lit right up—you could literally feel it through the saddle, and it was so friggin cool!

​This is the exact reason I picked the Lusitano. The ultimate, OG, bullfighting cow horse on the weekdays… and back to rocking out French classical on the other days.

​Versatile doesn't even cover it. I can’t wait to be your partner forever, Melner! 💓✨

Oh and she also met a salamander!

Introducing North! 🐴✨

North is the other wonderful c**t Iris will be working with this month. He has already proven to be such an easy-going fella who absolutely loves getting snuggles and kisses from Iris (don't tell the others, but I think she might have a favorite!).

This c**t's unflappable personality is going to serve him so well in life, and we cannot wait to keep working and growing with him.
