Welcome to Northern Hart Equestrian where happy horses make happy owners.

At Northern Hart we want to make your equine partnership an enjoyable experience. We strive to bring out the best in every horse through good classical training with your personal goals in mind – be it sheer pleasure riding or preparing for the show season. Our motto at Northern Hart is that the horse comes first and must enjoy his/her work. Northern Hart specializes in teaching beginner/ intermediate lessons, training the hunter-jumper horse and rider and breaking horses. Safety for both horse and rider is our primary concern in order to keep everyone involved safe as we follow in accordance with Alberta Equestrian Federation and Equine Canada standards. We offer custom training programs for both you and your horse. With access to indoor/ outdoor arenas and trails there is ample room to learn, train and ride. As well, our facility offers both indoor and outdoor board to keep you and your equine partner happy.

Who’s looking for their next game for anything horse!?

Meet Aries!

Born May 31st 2015, this guy is full of laughs and adventure.
Aries is 15.1hh and stout! With his striking bay paint color he is eye catching in and out of the show ring.

Tons of video!
Great teen horse, horse for someone wanting to move up, 4h or eventing! Even fancy enough to hit the western show ring too. Also could be your best real buddy

-Has shown in a derby and done countless clinics in the eventing world.
- has jumped to 2’9”
- lovely and soft to ride western as well
-Rides out alone or with friends.
-Not suitable for beginners, but would be fine as a step up for a rider in a program. Forward boy to the fence.
- excellent for someone looking for a horse to take them to the jump and be bold
-Was ridden by a teen in a lesson program for a year.
-Will stand for hours to be groomed by all ages.
-Used to trucks,tractors,quads,dirt bikes, peddle bikes with toddlers on them, dogs, cats, and cows.
-Has been primarily ridden English, but has dabbled in western get up.
-Ridden in a eggbutt snaffle.
-Just did a Masterkey eventing clinic Thanks giving weekend.

-utd on teeth and vaccines as of May 2026.
-Regular farrier schedule every 5 weeks. Currently shod all the way around. Requires front shoes year round as he has thin soles.
-Easy keeper, currently on hay in nibble nets with one scoop of Wilson’s cool a day. When in regular work he can be on free choice hay.
-Born and raised with us. We know his entire history.
-Middle of the pecking order. Gives off golden retriever energy.
-Stands tied, baths, trailers, backs out and will self load.

Aries is currently getting out two days a week due to my fiancé and I being busy with work.
