🇬🇧🐾 Could some of Britain and Ireland’s native terriers disappear?
The Royal Kennel Club classifies a number of native breeds as vulnerable when annual registrations fall to very low levels.
From the Bedlington Terrier and Dandie Dinmont to the Skye Terrier, Manchester Terrier and Kerry Blue, these breeds represent generations of British and Irish dog history. ❤️
Some were developed for vermin control, some for working farms and estates, and others became much-loved companions — but today, many are far less commonly seen than popular modern breeds.
🐶 Have you ever owned or met one of these terriers?
