Last, but certainly not least… can arthritis be prevented? 🐾

The simple answer is no. However, there are several ways to help reduce your dog’s risk and potentially delay its onset with age.

We’re passionate about keeping your furry companions happy, healthy, and comfortable. Contact the clinic to learn more about what’s best for your dog! 💙

Did you know next week is National Pet Appreciation Week? We sure did! 🐾

This year, we want to celebrate all of the incredible furry companions we’re so lucky to know as both patients and friends!

To join the fun, we’re inviting our wonderful clients to email us a photo of their pet for a chance to be featured on our social media pages throughout the week!

As a thank you, every submitted photo will be entered into a draw to win a dog or cat goodie bag 🎁

We’ll also have special treats available in reception for both cats and dogs, so feel free to stop by and let your pet enjoy a little something on us! 🐶🐱

We can't wait to see all of the wonderfully furry faces!!

Unfortunately, arthritis cannot be cured and it can’t be managed with just one approach. 🐾

It requires a multi-modal plan that may include medication, physical therapy, joint supplements, weight management, home/environment adjustments, and much more.

While there’s no cure, there are many effective ways to manage pain and improve comfort, helping your dog stay active and enjoy a good quality of life. 💙

One tool we use in diagnosing and monitoring arthritis is the LOAD questionnaire. 🐾 This helpful assessment tracks your dog’s mobility and helps us better understand their joint health over time.

We’re also proud to include this tool in our Silver Paws Senior Wellness Package! 💛

👑🐾 ALL HAIL THE KING! 🐾👑

It’s International King Charles Cavalier Spaniel Day! Today we celebrate the royal rulers of hearts everywhere! From their majestic floofy ears and dreamy, expressive eyes to their grinch like toebeans, these pups truly reign supreme.

Whether they’re holding court on the couch or demanding treats fit for a king, Cavaliers prove every day that kindness, cuddles, and a little drama make the perfect monarch.

Long live these short kings(and queens) - treat-tax collectors, and couch commanders! 🐶👑

Diagnosing arthritis often involves a combination of different assessments to get the full picture of your dog’s joint health. 💙
