These babies came in the mail today from the WSQHA where Scorched Diamond and Diamond Intentionz both won their classes and Scorched Diamond was grand under all judges. Diamond Intentionz won several reserves! Thank you to the organizers, volunteers and judges at the NW Emerald show! We had a blast and hope to come back next year!

Earlier, we shared an important update regarding potential equine herpesvirus Type 1 (EHV-1) exposure at the 2025 AQHA World Championship Show with all exhibitors in attendance. We learned about the positive cases last night and have been working with state veterinarians in Oklahoma and Texas regarding the safety and well-being of your horses.

Eight horses that competed at the event had previously traveled from the WPRA Finals in Waco,, where an EHV case was identified. Exhibitors who attended the World Show have been notified via email. All horse owners are encouraged to learn more about EHV-1, including signs, diagnosis, treatment and prevention, at the Equine Disease Communication Center: https://equinediseasecc.org/equine-herpesvirus.

AQHA remains in close communication with veterinary experts and will share updates as they become available.
