This is a really cool and long standing event with incredible artists. The tour winds its way through Oro-Medonte in the peak of the autumn colours and gives an intimate window into workshops, studios and galleries featuring fine Canadian art and you even get to meet the artists. Highly recommend, awesome way to spend a day over the holiday weekend. Whether you are staying with us over Thanksgiving or just thinking about exploring the area, this is the time to do it - really unique experience.

The Explorer’s Tents at Glen Oro fuse the elegance and charm of a boutique hotel room with the rustic natural elements of the forest.

Both a staff favourite and an accommodation choice that sees a lot of return guests, they remind you of some Hollywood-esque nostalgic camping trip you may or may not have had as a kid, while providing the amenities you’d desire of a suite downtown. There is just something about hearing the forest sounds through the canvas, or listening to rain patter on the fly that provides so much peace.

If you haven’t yet, come out and give it a try.
