Believe me when I say I understand we are all enjoying this absolutely beautiful summer we are having! I also understand that with this gorgeous weather comes family vacations, unexpected visitors, impromptu plans, etc., and sometimes we forget about appointments we may have made weeks ago.
I do ask that you please understand that I am a VERY small business, and I do rely on this income so I can keep serving my clients. Last minute cancellations are hard to fill seeing as my clientele is so small, and often I cannot find anyone to fill the spot. I am currently booking into October and sometimes I lose potential clients because the appointments are too far out, so for one to go unfilled is hard on my small business.
That being said, I have decided to make changes to my cancellation policy and appointment reminders. I will be confirming appointments over 48 hours in advance to give clients time to cancel. If appointments are cancelled under 48 hours there will be a 10% cancellation fee, and a 20% cancellation fee for under 24 hours.
I understand that unforeseen circumstances do happen, and I consider myself to be very understanding and flexible, so I hope you can all understand these necessary changes.
