what is best for your pet. We will take the time to listen to what hair style is best for you and your life style. All we ask is for you to be open with us & give us feedback. One person’s definition of short or round face is completely different from the other. Sometimes it takes a few grooming sessions before we prefect the style. All Grooms Baths include
Coat specific shampoo – Need extra hydration, a silky shine, extra brightening or deshedding? We use products designed for your dog’s coat type. All dogs will receive two baths, one to loosen oils and break down dirt, a second to insure a squeaky clean. And we will include a 3rd or 4th bath for those that may need it. Cleansing Blueberry Facial- It is a Tearless formula that brightens and cleans while keeping your pet’s safety first. Conditioning- All dogs will receive a special conditioning to keep their skin and coat healthy. Fluff Dry- To insure the best results we will take the time to hand dry your dog. If your pet is nervous of the dryer we will then kennel dry using our cool air dryers to guarantee your dog will never overheat. Nail Clipping- We recommend every 4-6 weeks for nail clipping. Nail filing will be included to those dogs that appreciate that extra touch. Ear Cleaning- A light clean using our gentle Witch Hazel solution when needed. A Special Touch- Groomers choice on a special something to give your pet that finished look. Policies
Scheduling- Dogs are required to be on a schedule of 10weeks or less, unless we have already discussed other options. Nails are recommended to be trimmed every 4-6 weeks so many clients book 4 week nail trims and then 4 week groom. If trying to reseed nails (push the quick backwards) 2-4 week nails trims maybe required. If booking longer than 6 week appointments please be trimming nails at home in between. I love to pre-book clients so booking for a year out not only allows you to have the appointment times you need but ensures dog stays comfortable all year long. September I will start booking for the following year. Cancellations or No Shows- 48hours notice is required to avoid the 50% your normal grooming cost charge. Giving me notice will allow me ample time to fill the spot. I work one on one style and so losing out on an appointment can drastically affect my pay cheque. Please respect my time as I do my best to be punctual and respect yours. Fleas- ALL pets need to be on some sort of preventative; over the counter vet prescribed, natural approach or simply checking daily to stay on top of parasites. When fleas are found they will immediately be given my ProTek Flea bath. Depending on how many we find; will determine if I am willing to finish the groom or send home wet (nails trimmed in bathtub). I am not willing to risk my own pets and all my clients’ pets in spreading fleas. A charge is given if fleas are found, this covers cost of flea bath and the extra time required for me to deep clean once your pet has left our salon. Matting & Compact Coat- this should be avoided as all dogs are required to be on schedules to avoid this from happening. 8-10 week clients especially need to stay on top of home brushing and combing. If you have not done your work of maintaining your pet’s coat at home and they come in with excessive compacted coat or knotted I reserve the right to add extra charges for the extra product I need to use, time and skills to bring your pet back to a healthy coat. Shaving Double Coats- with my education and research I have chosen to NOT shave double coated dogs (huskies, Pomeranians, golden retriever etc) I will trim them to 1inch or longer after doing my typical de-shed program!
