Earlier mornings are available to those that prebook. Every pet has their own specific needs. May it be their personality, coat type or other specific needs; we will always take the time to do

what is best for your pet. We will take the time to listen to what hair style is best for you and your life style. All we ask is for you to be open with us & give us feedback. One person’s definition of short or round face is completely different from the other. Sometimes it takes a few grooming sessions before we prefect the style. All Grooms Baths include
Coat specific shampoo – Need extra hydration, a silky shine, extra brightening or deshedding? We use products designed for your dog’s coat type. All dogs will receive two baths, one to loosen oils and break down dirt, a second to insure a squeaky clean. And we will include a 3rd or 4th bath for those that may need it. Cleansing Blueberry Facial- It is a Tearless formula that brightens and cleans while keeping your pet’s safety first. Conditioning- All dogs will receive a special conditioning to keep their skin and coat healthy. Fluff Dry- To insure the best results we will take the time to hand dry your dog. If your pet is nervous of the dryer we will then kennel dry using our cool air dryers to guarantee your dog will never overheat. Nail Clipping- We recommend every 4-6 weeks for nail clipping. Nail filing will be included to those dogs that appreciate that extra touch. Ear Cleaning- A light clean using our gentle Witch Hazel solution when needed. A Special Touch- Groomers choice on a special something to give your pet that finished look. Policies

Scheduling- Dogs are required to be on a schedule of 10weeks or less, unless we have already discussed other options. Nails are recommended to be trimmed every 4-6 weeks so many clients book 4 week nail trims and then 4 week groom. If trying to reseed nails (push the quick backwards) 2-4 week nails trims maybe required. If booking longer than 6 week appointments please be trimming nails at home in between. I love to pre-book clients so booking for a year out not only allows you to have the appointment times you need but ensures dog stays comfortable all year long. September I will start booking for the following year. Cancellations or No Shows- 48hours notice is required to avoid the 50% your normal grooming cost charge. Giving me notice will allow me ample time to fill the spot. I work one on one style and so losing out on an appointment can drastically affect my pay cheque. Please respect my time as I do my best to be punctual and respect yours. Fleas- ALL pets need to be on some sort of preventative; over the counter vet prescribed, natural approach or simply checking daily to stay on top of parasites. When fleas are found they will immediately be given my ProTek Flea bath. Depending on how many we find; will determine if I am willing to finish the groom or send home wet (nails trimmed in bathtub). I am not willing to risk my own pets and all my clients’ pets in spreading fleas. A charge is given if fleas are found, this covers cost of flea bath and the extra time required for me to deep clean once your pet has left our salon. Matting & Compact Coat- this should be avoided as all dogs are required to be on schedules to avoid this from happening. 8-10 week clients especially need to stay on top of home brushing and combing. If you have not done your work of maintaining your pet’s coat at home and they come in with excessive compacted coat or knotted I reserve the right to add extra charges for the extra product I need to use, time and skills to bring your pet back to a healthy coat. Shaving Double Coats- with my education and research I have chosen to NOT shave double coated dogs (huskies, Pomeranians, golden retriever etc) I will trim them to 1inch or longer after doing my typical de-shed program!

Did you know we have a theatre club?? Come join us!!

Great meeting last night folks! We read through the second act of the play and did some improv activities that let us embody the characters' personalities. This helps us figure out what we may or may not like about portraying them, and ultimately helps us decide which characters we would prefer to play. This also aids in collaboratively casting each other, which is to take place soon!

🎭 The next meeting will be Tuesday, April 21st. Instead of being in the teaching theatre, we will be in David White's classroom upstairs. Signage will be posted to find it. Same time as usual, 6:30pm-8:00pm.

We are still one or two cast members short of having a full crew, so once again, tell everyone you know about us!!! Meetings always go by fast; theatre is such a fun thing for anyone to get in to.

Today we only had time to read through the first act of the play, but that was more than enough to begin to familiarize ourselves with the characters. The play is already growing on us and will be an absolute delight to rehearse over the next few months leading up to performing during Harvey Days.

The characters have their given personalities of course, but there is still room to make them our own - especially with a full cast! Right now we have about 3/4s of folks needed to cast someone different for each role, with the possibility of one person doubling up if need be. So once again, if you or anyone you know would like to come out, we would warmly welcome them! No theatre experience is necessary- the more, the merrier. We are aiming to be fully casted in about two weeks (by the week of the 26th). As mentioned awhile ago, instead of doing traditional auditions, casting will be a collaborative effort (it's way less intimidating, especially for first-timers 😉). If acting isn't your thing, we'll always appreciate extra hands and brains to help us with sound/lighting FX, or even for the backstage stuff.

🎭 We will meet again in the Harvey High Teaching Theatre this Friday, the 17th, to read the second act. 6:30pm-8:00pm. See you there!
