Effective immediately For the Love of Dog professional pet grooming is CLOSED for business. ALL APPOINTMENTS ARE CANCELLED. I will not be able to contact everyone individually so please share this message with anyone you know who is a client.
I will post here if another groomer becomes available in the area, as most groomers are not taking new clients at this time. Keep an eye on the page over the next couple of months as there are talks of a new groomer opening in the area.

I would like to thank all my clients over the past 6 years. This was a difficult decision for me and I will miss all the puppers so much. I am hoping to have one day a month for nail cuts and will update here when they will be. If there is anything here belonging to your pet, ie shampoos, treats, or toys, etc, please private message me for pick up. Take care and be well. All the best!

Notice RE: Emergency Water Shut Off

The Town of Harbour Grace would like to inform residents that due to a water leak, there is an emergency water shut off today, Monday, February 7, 2022.

Some residents may experience a decrease in water pressure and others may have no water at all.

Crews are working to resolve this issue as quickly as possible.

The Town apologizes for any inconvenience.

Hello, to my valued clients, I hope you had a wonderful holiday season. With the rising cost of living I'm announcing as of February 1, 2022 there will be a price increase on grooming services. This will be the first of 2 price increases this year. The second being in September.

I AM NOT ACCEPTING NEW CLIENTS AT THIS TIME

Pricing changes effective February 1, 2022

Prices start at $55 for a full groom
(Full groom includes bath, dry, ear cleaning, nail cut, trim and tidy. I DO NOT offer a**l gland services)

Small dogs
Yorkie, Maltese, Shih tzu, Havanese $55-$60

Medium dogs
Bischon, Spanials $65-$75

Large breed dogs
Doodle (full size) $80-$100
Retriever $60-$75
Newfoundland $150+

De-matting (if possible) $15 per 15 minutes

Early drop off $15 per 30 minutes
Late pick up $15 per 15 minutes

Price will be given at time of grooming appointment and MUST be paid before dog leaves. EMTs MUST be sent and confirmation number given to me before dogs are picked up.

Prices are subject to change and are based on behavior, coat type and condition.

Going forward, EMT payments MUST be sent before picking up your dog. This has been a policy for a while but I haven't been enforcing it.
You would not go to Wal Mart, take your things, and tell them you'll pay when you get home. I have had to remind too many people for payment. That is not my job. I expect to be paid for my services when you are picking up. From now on, dogs will not be released to their owners until payment is sent. Thank you for your cooperation and understanding.

I only have a select few cat clients... Cats are difficult to groom and most times you need two people to handle a cat. I stopped grooming cats 2 years ago but kept on a select few that are really good. Sadie is one of those cats. :)

This is my busiest time of year. Please make sure you are on time for drop off and pick ups and that EMTs are sent before you pick up your pets! Tips are not required but some of my clients like to get me a little gift this time of year... While it's greatly appreciated, I'm not a big fan of chocolate. Homemade baked goods and monetary tips are my favourite! Can't wait to see your pooches! Happy Holidays!
