Happy Monday, everyone!

Phew, this summer has flown by! I have had such a great time pampering existing clients and have been fortunate to meet so many wonderful new clients as well.

It is so hard to believe that it was this week last year that my wonderful partner and I set up a little salon downtown Hanover and I officially moved my grooming business AND my whole family to this lovely town! I am so tremendously grateful for the warm welcome we have all received, and for the lovely community that has welcomed us. I am also tremendously thankful for the many clients who followed me here from Meaford, your visits are so special and I am honoured to be able to continue loving on your pups on Spa Day! Thank you everyone! ❤️ 🐾

It's been a busy week of total transformations in the salon! I love the challenge of styling an overgrown pup, but my favourite part is the joy and pride from their human at pickup, the declarations of "you look so good! Like a whole new dog!"

Dogs are deeply effected by their human's emotional state, and that kind of happy reception after a day at the groomer just enhances their positive association with grooming day.

There is just something so satisfying about working with Sheltie & Rough Collie coats, for me.

The way the coat is so transformed with a good bath, deep conditioning, and elbow grease to brush and comb everything into place: the process is meditative for me, and the results are always so rewarding.

Thank you Penny for being the best girl on Spa Day, she is always beautiful but especially when she shines bright after a groom! ♥️🐾
