Ruby is doing a fantastic job learning her reliable Ecollar recalls! Ruby has been working around the other dogs and learning how to prioritize her handlers commands and how to always come promptly when called. (I also added some collar grab desensitizing at the end of each recall.) So well done Miss Ruby!!! 💖

Please give a big warm welcome to Hank the 1.5 year old Belgian Malinois mix! Hank has been struggling with dog reactivity and has jumped fences and scaled them (yes, as in climbing straight up and over) attempting to get closer… OMG Hank! 🫣😂
So, our new big ultra athletic friend is joining us for training to learn about polite manners and impulse control and all things calm and controlled 😌. Hank will also be learning about muzzle conditioning, polite nail trimming, and of course all of his obedience on and off leash including heel on leash, follow off leash, reliable off leash recall, sit/stay, down/stay and place command! Welcome Hank!!!💙

Progress update on Ruby’s dog reactivity 5 days into training!
I could just kick myself for not getting a good before video of Ruby’s dog reactivity because she would really go all out 😂 but I can tell you that she was a bit of a handful. So we’ve been working on correcting mental arousal, patterning calm behaviour, and holding Miss Ruby accountable to these new politer things. Today when we passed a barking dog, Ruby made some good choices. Although we still have a lot of work ahead of us, it’s fun to see how much progress Ruby has made in just 5 days! 💖
