We’ve been busy getting our costumes ready for the Ladybird Animal Sanctuary Halloween Bowl-A-Thon — and let’s just say, we’re taking the Tater Tot theme VERY seriously! 😂🥔

But there’s another exciting surprise in the works…

💜 Our RVT Kim is expecting a BABY BOY in February 2027! 💙👶

And of course, Baby Tater Tot had to make an appearance at our costume-making night! 🥔👶😂

Help Us Bowl for Ladybird Animal Sanctuary! 🎳🐾

On October 22nd, West Park Animal Hospital will be hitting the lanes as The Tater Tots for Ladybird Animal Sanctuary’s Halloween Bowl-A-Thon — and we would love to have your support! 🎳🎃🐾

Ladybird rescues at-risk cats, dogs, small animals, birds, and reptiles from high-volume shelters across Ontario and Quebec. They provide veterinary care and give animals time to heal in foster homes before finding their forever families. For animals requiring ongoing care, Ladybird continues to provide the support they need.

Every pledge helps give an animal a second chance at the very best life. ❤️

Our team has set a goal of raising at least $500, but we would love to go far beyond that!

💜 VETERINARY TECHNICIAN APPRECIATION MONTH 💜

🐾 Meet Jess, VT! 🐾

Jess graduated from Collège Boréal and has been part of the West Park family since 2017! With 12 years of experience in veterinary medicine, Jess is a wonderful part of our team, helping our patients feel their best with plenty of hands-on nursing care. 🩺💉

❤️ Why veterinary medicine? To help those who can't help themselves. 🥹🐾

🩺 Favourite part of the job: All things nursing care! From placing IV catheters to collecting blood samples, Jess loves being hands-on with her patients.

🐱 Favourite patients: Cats, cats, and more cats! 😻

🐈 Clinic greeters: You may recognize Monkey and Marvin! These two feline friends belong to Jess and can often be spotted around the clinic greeting clients and making themselves right at home. 💜🐾

🎃☕ Go-to coffee order: A Pumpkin Spice Latte! Nothing says fall quite like it. 🍂

🦁 Dream animal to work with: Wildlife! Jess would love the chance to work with safari animals. 🦒🐘🦓
