Be free my friend💔

This was a difficult one to edit. I’ve watched it over and over, and each time, I’ve felt the weight of the day all over again.

One of our beloved pack members, Bruiser, passed away. His family asked if I would bring his ashes along on one last walk and scatter them in his favourite place, on the trails he knew and loved.

Bruiser was supposed to be with us that day. His place in the pack was meant to be filled by his familiar presence, his footsteps among the others, his spirit running free.

And although he was no longer with us in the physical form, somehow, it felt like he was there.

His friends walked the familiar trails. The pack moved together, as it always had. And in the quiet moments, there was a feeling that’s hard to put into words.

Maybe it was memory. Maybe it was love. Maybe the bond these dogs share runs deeper than we can ever truly understand.

What I do know is that Bruiser belonged here. These trails were part of his story, and this pack was part of his life.

So we brought him home to one of his favourite places, surrounded by friends who had shared the journey with him.

Run free, Bruiser. 🌿

You may no longer walk beside us, but you will always be part of this pack.

The ball went under the boardwalk… and naturally, the dogs launched a full-scale search mission.
