Does anyone remember Milo from 2016?
After spending 11 months living with and training him, working through his issues, and searching for the perfect home Milo finally found his forever family and lived a long life! Sadly yesterday, he passed away. But what a great life he lived.

At the time, a group of "animal lovers" went so far as to call the SPCA and have my home raided, claiming Milo was being abused because I taught him to walk on a treadmill... They found nothing of course, and told me "We know Ted, these people are insane, but legally we have to show up".
No one wanted Milo because of his history of human bites and he bounced around in rescue with no one stepping up. But despite that, some of these people would rather have seen him euthanized than allow him to receive training from a balanced dog trainer.
To those vile people who tried to shut down his ONE option before being euthanized, I say this:
You should be ashamed of yourselves.
Your moral superiority doesn’t make you compassionate or superior. It makes you look foolish and secretly filled with hate. And for what? To see a dog silently pass away at 2 years old to avoid balanced training?
Talk is cheap.
It’s easy to condemn someone from behind a screen. It’s much harder to take responsibility, put in the work, and give a dog with a difficult history a chance at a life.
I don't want praise, all I wanted was to know I did everything I could to say his life.
Milo, you and I had our ups and downs along the way, but I loved you and I always will.
Rest easy, Milo. I’ll see you in Heaven.
