A puppy win! 🐶
Rosalin, had a surprise win as a ten month old puppy. She earned BEST PUPPY IN SHOW with judge Torbjorn Skaar from Sweeden at Cobequid, Nova Scotia on April 26th. The judge offered us some insight into Rosie’s qualities & performance which made the win extra special. Rosalin’s BPIG was earned with NS judge Nancy Popovich.

Emma Astle expertly brought Rosalin to this significant win! Thank you 😊

A sweet Mama 🐶 🐶 & Daughter moment: Little 9 month old Rosalin visited last week. Her mama Quinta Mae sets good boundaries. Also her kennel is off-limits to most. While Quinta rested in her open kennel, little Rosalin sneaked in the kennel and cuddled beside her Mom with a few affectionate licks. Apparently, rules don’t apply to well-mannered puppies 🐶

You know those dreams that you never dare to say out loud? Well it happened: Quinta’s 9 month old puppies Newton, Ari and Rosalin had a wildly successful first Rodeo @ The Halifax Dog Show.

There were many firsts to celebrate:
1. Rosalin got the first BOB in the litter,
2. Ari won Best Puppy in Group, along with 2 BOBs and
3. Newton 🤩wowed us 🤩 with a Group 2nd, 1 BOB, Best Puppy in Group and, if this wasn’t enough, he finished it up with a Best Puppy in Show!

We were in awe of the puppy owners who were so attentive to their puppy’s needs while bringing out the best in them. Congratulations to Donna Matheson, Linda St Hillaire and Carole DeLorme and special thanks to handler Emma Astle. A special mention to the co-owner of Rosalin who was thrilled to get updates and a puppy inspired T shirt, featuring ‘Not our first Rodeo’.

We enjoyed a wonderful weekend together with the puppies (GCH Queensberry From Kind of Magic X CH Trystyn’s Blue Rodeo)

Thrilled to be heading to the Halifax Dog Show to unite with 9 month old siblings of the A litter: Aerie, Rosalin & Newton 🐶 They will be so excited to see one another & will complete in their 1st conformation show together.
