A little reminder about our hospital…

With lots of conversation lately about corporate ownership of veterinary clinics, we wanted to assure our community that Fall River Animal Hospital is family-owned, and has been for over 30 years! 🐾

We’re incredibly proud of our roots in this community and grateful for the families who have trusted us with their pets over the years. We are also welcoming new patients and our team is always very motivated to help in any way we can 💚

Our team had a front-row seat to this beautiful view after a busy Monday. We love working in Fall River🩷💜

We hope you get to snuggle with your favourites this weekend just like Jill and Rebel ❤️

We will be CLOSED for the long weekend as our team recharges their batteries with Thanksgiving dinner and family/home time.❤️

👉If your pet experiences an emergency during our closure, please contact the Metro Animal Emergency Clinic at (902)468-0674. They are our after hours partner and are open 24/7

From all of us …. Wishing all of our patients and families a Happy Thanksgiving! 🍁

Today we recognize the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation - a day to honour the children who never returned home, the Survivors of residential schools, and the families and communities who continue to carry their impacts.

Our clinic will be open throughout the day to continue providing care and support to animals in need.

We recognize that caring for our community also means taking time to listen, learn, reflect, and acknowledge the history and ongoing impacts of residential schools.

Loki looks a little unsure about being here, but we were all so happy to see him when he was in for his annual checkup with Dr. Cook🐾💙

We do our best to make every visit as comfortable as possible—with lots of love, reassurance, and treats. 🥰

🐈‍⬛Black cats = bad luck? We think not🐈‍⬛

The myth that a black cat crossing your path brings misfortune originated in medieval Europe due to fear of the dark and unfounded associations with witchcraft and the plague.

Black cats have been unfairly blamed for centuries, when plenty of cultures actually consider them a symbol of good luck, prosperity, and love 🍀💗

And after meeting sweet little Paddy on his first visit, we’re pretty sure he’s bringing nothing but good vibes and kitten cuddles. 🥰❤️
