Today is Carrie’s last day as Bayers Lake Manager after working here for 16 years 😭😭😭

You probably recognize her as someone who has helped you find the right product for your pet, or offered helpful advice or just offered a warm welcome upon entering the store. Her professionalism, care, and genuine love for what she does have left a lasting impression on all of us, and on so many of you.

She is truly one of a kind and impossible to replace. While we’re so sad to see her go, we couldn’t be more excited for her as she begins her next adventure. 🤍

Thank you for everything Carrie - you will be so deeply missed!

The sincerest thank you to everyone who came out to our 10th Customer Appreciation Day! 🥳🎉🎈

It is a lot of work to pull off, but we couldn’t do it without our amazing staff, our wonderful vendors who took the time to join us today or sent us goodies for the wagbags, all of our special guests who help bring in the crowd, and of course, our customers. Without customers, we don’t have a business. So thank you to our long time, loyal customers and to our new customers - thank you for choosing us as your pet’s go to store. It means the world to be a small part of their lives.

So, Customer Appreciation Day certainly makes us happy 💓🐾 Wagging tails, drooling mouths and happy faces bring us so much joy. If your pet had a fun day with us, that’s enough for us to call it a success ✅

Meet Cassie 📸

Cassie has been professionally photographing the pets of Halifax for 11 years now, and knows ALL the tricks to get great expressions on their faces! From dogs to parrots to horses, from beaches to forests to pet stores… pet parents who are absolutely smitten with their best buddies know they need to call Cassie when it’s time for portraits. Well, as a millennial, Cassie would actually prefer if you sent an email ;)

When they’re not at work, Cassie loves rewatching Buffy the Vampire Slayer for the millionth time, biking and roller skating local trails, and is obsessed with Dr. Pepper!

Find Cassie in Bayers Lake from 9:30-11, Bedford from 1-3 and Dartmouth from 4-6!

Meet .hfx - a small handmade business creating stylish, functional tick collars for pets who love the outdoors. Every collar is handmade by us in Nova Scotia using Natural Cedar Wood, BioThane, paracord, EM ceramic beads and unique custom designs that are made to stand out while helping keep adventures worry-free.

We started Bog Dog out of a love for dogs and the outdoors, and we’re so grateful for all the support we’ve received from fellow pet lovers. We’ll be bringing a variety of our bestselling Cedar Tick Collars, and fun seasonal designs, and we can’t wait to meet everyone and their pups!
