While it's funny when they give you those irresistible puppy eyes, remember that many common sandwich ingredients, including onions, garlic, grapes, and xylitol-containing products, can be dangerous for dogs.

Pumpkin-flavored treats are everywhere this time of year, but some seasonal ingredients aren't safe for pets.

Nutmeg contains myristicin, which can be toxic when ingested in larger amounts and may cause disorientation, increased heart rate, tremors, or even seizures.

Many of you may not know that our clinics are proud and active members of the South Asian Veterinary Association (SAVA), an organization representing veterinarians of South Asian heritage.

The recent wildfires in Ontario have devastated homes and communities and have also left many animals in urgent need of treatment, shelter, and care. In response, SAVA members came together and raised an incredible $50,000 for the Ontario Veterinary Medical Association's Wildfire Relief Fund.

We are proud to be part of an association that steps forward when help is needed. Together, we will continue supporting animals and giving back to the communities we are fortunate to call home.
