🎒🐾 Back-to-school is a big change for your dog, too!
After a summer filled with extra walks, playtime, and plenty of family time, your pup may suddenly find themselves spending more time home alone. A change in routine can be an adjustment — and some dogs may experience stress or anxiety as everyone gets back to their regular schedules.

Here are a few ways to help your dog settle into the new routine:

🐶 Keep meals, walks, and bedtime as consistent as possible
🧩 Offer enrichment like food puzzles or stuffed toys while you're away
🚶 Make time for exercise and mental stimulation before or after school
⏰ If possible, gradually increase the amount of time your dog spends alone
❤️ Watch for signs of stress, including excessive barking, destructive behaviour, accidents, pacing, or changes in appetite

If your dog is struggling with being home alone, don't hesitate to reach out to your veterinary team. We're here to help make the transition easier for the whole family!

📚🐾 New school year, new routine — let's help our pups adjust, too!

A friendly reminder to make sure you are prepared for the long weekend! 💙
